Duct Tape is Silver (Day 2, LE, Hangar)

"Sure if the droid, found us some actual paint," he said.

"There is fake paint?" That sounded a bit odd. "Either way, tlets go check." They needed to get this done after all!

Byron was thankful the droid had the right paint to spray on, he grabbed an apron and spray tools for the both of them to get to work., with proper montage music of course. Byron focused on making sure the coat was on evenly and fluid while arguing with the droid from time to time because he felt it wasn’t doing things properly. It probably was but Byron never trusted droids overly much, shifty ocular automatons. Once the body was done he focused on polishing the chrome bits… between then two of them they were making great progress.

Well three if one counted the droid.

Painting speeders isn't really what one would call one of Silas' strong suits, still he did what he could to speed along the process, all the while humming along to the radio that Byron had playing. Luckily this shouldn't take too long, as he had to get back to working on hsi armor.

Given the tools and the amount of labor, they did get it done pretty quickly. Byron nodded and said, “Well I think we got the job done. Even you, droid, which is surprising. Thanks for the hand, Silas.”

“I appreciate the help.”

"I like to help when I can." Silas replied with a grin. "Still she looks good!" Even if there were likely a few weak spots on the hill from the fire damage.

"Give her a bit to dry and she'll be ready for a test drive."

"Agreed, well I am going to grab something to eat before bed, need anything?" he asked.

"I'm Good, Cap." Silas offered a grin at the older boy. "But thanks for asking."

Byron waved and went off to get something greasy and filling.
