It was quiet in the training hall now that the test was over and all the teachers and students had gone. The next youngling class was not taking place for a while so Zizzy had the place to herself for a while. Things hadn't gone very well in the test and she decided it was time to turn over a new tendril.
Picking up a blast helmet and a remote she walked out into the middle of the hall and took a deep breath. Activating the remote she secured the helmet, switched on her training saber, and took up a defensive stance.
This time, she really could feel the force flowing through her!
D2. LA. Remedial saber class. Easy Lightsaber vs a remote:
1eP+1eA+1eD 1 success, 1 advantage

"If one of the other masters were here, they would doubtless tell you 'good form'." Master Chriala's voice came from the open door. Zizzy would hear her walking further into the room.
"I suppose I could tell you that too, although it is not what I notice most."

Zizzy managed to keep her focus despite the presence of one of the few Masters she really wasn't thinking might just happen to be here. She kept her guard up and continued to track the remote. Her tendrils kept it in view, or perhaps feel.
"Master Chriala." Fzoom, churr. "Good afternoon. What..." Churr churr. "...do you notice most." Swish, churr. "If you don't mind my asking?"
Four shots, four deflections. It might be a personal best.

"Very good, child." She murmured at the display.
The master's footsteps could be slowly circling around. "As one who can 'see' without eyes, I notice when another is doing so. Especially when they are doing it as ably as you are."
The footsteps stopped, somewhere behind her. "But then, you always could see more than most, couldn't you, Zizzy?"

"Thank you Master Chriala." Churr, fzoom, "Ack." Another deflection and then a shot got through, catching her off hand. "Not always so able, but I know I can do better." Still, five in a row.
She kept her grip on the hilt. "I... Yes, Master. For as long as I can remember." The training remote seemed reluctant to take another shot.

"One can always do better." Chriala said, her tone dry. The footsteps began again. From where they lead, Zizzy would hear the distinctive snap-hiss of a saber activating; whether a lightsaber or a training saber might be difficult to tell.
"Seeing the future is not the same as seeing what is around you. Not even in the sense we speak of seeing." Chriala spoke. "Deflecting bolts is a bit of both. Although there are Jedi who can only do that, and not the others. How curious is the Force." A brief pause, with only the sound of the saber. "How are your abilities developing?"

"Very true Master." Zizzy adjusted her grip and her stance, just in case there was a need to parry a saber strike as well.
"The force gifts each of us differently. Mostly I feel my visions are becoming clearer. More coherent." She shifted on the balls of her feet, catching a bolt. "Sometimes it sends me slivers of precognition."

There was not. Instead, there was the hum of another training droid, and the sound of bolt on saber.
"Indeed?" A pause, another bolt. "How interesting. What do you do with these slivers?"

"I..." The sound of a deflection and a half. "Am still adjusting to it Master. I think with time it will help me to prepare myself for a battle before it begins." She circled the sound of the remote.

"Good, good..." The footsteps approached her. "You maintain your form, even as you anticipate. That is a challenge, but that is what the forms are for.
Silence, then: "Do you think you could adapt to two at once?"

She thought a moment then nodded. "My tendrils plus the force gives me an edge. If I can learn to use them together now consistently then two or, maybe more, would be possible."
