[D0 Morning] Roomin' Roomin'

[Ares Pax]

Ares sat up in his bed. He was already awake for a while now, but decided against getting up. He glanced around whether Sylas was up yet.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Silas was generally a early riser, unless he got involved in one of his projects and stayed up to all hours of the morning. A quick peek down at the bottom bunk would tell Ares his roomie was indeed up though.

Silas was busy sewing, albeit it slowly as his eyes were glued to the roll down screen at the end of his bed where the lovely young Nebula Starr was delivering the news. It seemed a particularly nice close up distracted him a bit too much though, as his needle enter his finger, and with a sharp. "Ow!" Silas dropped his work to examine his finger.

[Ares Pax]

"You okay buddy?" Ares asked idly, as his legs were dangling from the top bunk.

He hopped down nimbly, his chest bare, despite the lower temperature of the room. He moved towards his cest to pick something out. "What are you working on?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah." Silas replied, stick his finger in his mouth to suck the blood away. "It should stop bleeding in a minute."

"Oh, something for Valee." He offered glancing at the cloth piled in his lap. Though a close inspection might suggest there wasnt an awful lot to it. "She likes to do that pop star dancing. I figured I'd make something for her to wear when she practices. It doesnt look good in robes." He finished cheerfully

[Ares Pax]

"Oh, quite thoughtful of you." He eyed the fabric dubiously. "Think she'll like it?2

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Um...." That brought a momentary pause from the young man. "Probably?" He offered after a moment. "Well, I hope she will at least!"

[Ares Pax]

Ares nodded, then moved to pick up a brown tunic.

"I am sure she will." He smiled. "How are your studies coming along? How are you feeling about the trials?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Haven't given the trials much thought, really." Silas replied examining his finger to see if the bleeding had stopped.

"Studies are going fairly well though." He glanced towards Ares and offered a smile. "What about you? Ready?"

[Ares Pax]

Ares stared at him. "Well, that is one way to go about it." He shrugged, and pulled his training saber onto his belt.

"Well, my form is progressing well, but there are some aspects of the training that I am struggling with. Meditation, for one."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Meditation is pretty hard." Silas murmured. "Clearing your mind of all thoughts and all think. I always end up thinking about clearing my mind, which makes it harder to clear my mind."

He broke into a grin. "I'm sure you will do just fine in the tests though. You just have to trust yourself."

[Ares Pax]

"Yeah, it's just like how the masters like to joke 'don't think of the pink nerf' and than you can't think of anything else." He smiled and sat down next to his roomie/friend. "Thanks. I'm sure you'll be great as well. You're pretty smart, after all."

He smirked. "I am curious what she'll think of the dress. Have any future projects in mind?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"A few" Silas replied, a twinkle in his eyes. "I want to make some armor for yself sometime, and some goggles that let you see things up close like. Not to mention Di needs some new clothes, her old robes don't fit too well anymore," There were probably a few more projects as well, but those were that first that came to mind.

"I should make something for you too." He mused. "Maybe some sort of meditation aid? Or some new clothes."

[Ares Pax]

"Di?" Asked Ares curously. It was tough to keep up with Sylas' nicks.

"Well.... some armor might not go amiss, I guess."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Zanja." SIlas offered in explanation. "The cute Zabrak." Ares should almost certainly know who he was talking about now.

"Armor? I can see what I can do, but anything worthwhile is pretty pricey."

[Ares Pax]

"Ah yeah. I recall. The one with the growth spurt." He frowned. "Why Di?"

He shrugged. "It's not too important though. If I'll need it, I assume the masters wil supply it. Besides, I'm beefy enough to take a hit."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

I dunno, it made sense to me. Diamond is too long so Di works well." He smiled, "But yeah, that's her."

"True, but something is better then nothing, so I'll see what I can put together." Even if it want much at all.

[Ares Pax]

"That's okay, focus on the others instead. I'll see if I can scrounge up some materials. I assume something metallic or ceramic would be needed?" He asked curiously.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, metals, ceramics as well as durable clothes. All of those and more can be useful." It really depended on what someone wanted.

"If you get some of that kind of stuff I'll see what I can put together."

[Ares Pax]

"Sure, I'll take a look around, see if I can scrounge something up." He moved closer to look at the dress. "At this rate, you're going to end up sewing something for the masters too, eh?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That would be pretty fun." Silas replied with a grin. "Do you think they'd wear it if I made it for them?"

They had to right?
