Being a Jedi Knight was cool. Especially in dreams. In her sleep, O'vala was quite capable. Her acrobatic feats were not met with failure, her saber a whirling weapon against the darkness. The beskar'gam of the Mandalorians meant nothing if she could simply aim for the weak points. And Sith were no match either. No enemy could parry her blows.
And Avilea. Well, Avilea was there. She seemed happy to see her on the battlefield. Accepting of what had happened between them. The zeltron appeared to have tapped into her potential in the Force, bending the battlefield to her will.
But this delusion of grandeur did not last forever. O'vala fought against a red-skinned zabrak who seemed to read all of her moves. They were stuck in single combat while Avilea fought a masked Sith Lord. Avilea's attempts to overpower her opponent with the Force were met with failure. The pink-skinned woman swung her lightsaber in vain and was disarmed soon after.
The dream O'vala leaped into the air to help but was suddenly slammed into the ground by the Force. Her original opponent smirked as she tugged at the miralian back into single combat. O'vala did her best to resist, crawl forward to help, even threw her lightsaber at the masked woman. But that was folly too. It was simply parried away.
All she could do now was watch. Watch as the Sith seized Avilea by the hair and slowly remove her very essence via the dark side's corruption.
O'vala's screams carried on to the waking world. She sat up, looked around, and slowly reacquainted herself with reality. She muttered an off-hand apology to her roommate and then stormed out of the room in her pajamas. Now in the halls, she wandered around, disturbed, lost in thoughts.
