[Ares Pax]

"That is true." Ares smiled. "Master Jaric would not waste his time if I couldn't be worth it." He smiled. "We are going to leave the day after tomorrow... they didn't tell us where though."

[Faily]

"They didn't say? Huh..." she sounded both surprised and curious to that. "... I hope I can see you one more time before you leave?"

[Ares Pax]

"We can meet tomorrow, if you'd like? I am getting some stipend, so I might go shopping, if you want to tag along. I don't often go into the city..." He listened to her voice, and enjoyed it.

[Faily]

"I'd love to do that!" So exciting, to get away from the temple too. "I should get to my lessons though. I don't have the luxury of all the sparetime that you currently have."

[Ares Pax]

Ares smiled. "Sure. I'll let you know when I'm free and you'll let you know if you can join?" His voice was hopeful as he spoke, and reluctantly and slowly let go of her hand. "It was good to see you."

[Faily]

"It was... really good to see you too. And I will make sure I have time to join you tomorrow, Ares," she smiled happily, as this went much better than she had expected.

"I know some good places to shop."

[Ares Pax]

"Well, that is very helpful. I have no idea what I'm doing. Or what I'll need." He smiled, held her hand one more time and waved. "I hope to see when I return. Who knows, maybe you will be up for trials next time."

"I hope so..." she sighed. It was sometimes difficult to see your peers surpass. "What do you have, or what do you need?"

[Ares Pax]

"Well, I have a thermal cloak and some stimpacks. Figure something for survival... a tent perhaps, or a compass? Not sure. Maybe some kind of armor if I can find something cheap." He shrugged. "I am a city boy, so have no idea to be honest."

"Yeah... I'm not much of an outdoors person myself either," she shrugged helplessly as she was a city-girl herself. "Maybe some food in case of emergency?"
