[D0 A] Emotion, yet Peace

[Eir]

“If it is the will of the Force, yes,” Eir intoned with conviction.

[Mir]

Mir's eyes flopped to the side. "I don't think anyone can understand what that means."

[Eir]

“Understand the will of the Force?” she contemplated a moment before continuing, “sometimes I think I understand, and a lot of times I don’t. But, I have faith that what I do not understand will still be for the best, even if I don’t know how yet.”

[Mir]

"Like, when you think you can understand it?" Mir pressed, tilting his head to the side. "Like how does that feel?"

[Eir]

“Well,” she’d never had to describe it before, “it’s like,” she groped around for words that fit. “It’s like peaceful, or calming. You know what you will do next, and there’s no doubt or confusion inside.”

[Mir]

"That's me on the way to the dining hall. Most of the time. Except that one time when I had eaten all those dreamberries." Mir noted sounding a little bit suspicious.

[Eir]

Eir giggled at Mir's adorable expression, "I don't think the Force disagrees with being well fed."

[Mir]

"I hope not." Mir agreed. "I always thought that Force was like Mrak Quickpaws. Umm.. that would be one of our ancestral spirits. Anyway, Mrak would always do something good and clever but the hero just couldn't see it that way."

[Eir]

Nodding slowly, "it do be like that, sometimes." She sighed, "I wish you could just call up the Force on the comms, that'd make life so much simpler."

[Mir]

"Mhmhm. My mother said that too. No matter how much she'd pray, the ancestors would never answer." Mirs eyes slanted and he looked to the side.

[Eir]

"I try to remember that the Force may answer in unexpected ways, but," she sighed and shook her head.

[Mir]

"I guess we'll have to see." Mir shuffled to stand up, stretching his arms upwards and his tail downwards as he did so. He yawned, his eyes rolling in his head. "I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I think I'm going to spend the night in the archives. There's so much out there I barely understand." his paw pointed in the direction of the city ."Words like Republic and Empire had little meaning on Doloran."

[Eir]

Eir hadn't moved from the spot she'd taken, and she didn't now. "Try to get some sleep too," not that any of them would likely be getting too much sleep.

[Mir]

"I hope to. Being tired and sloppy is probably worse than being a bit clueless. A lot clueless. But, take care." Mir blinked his eyes slowly as he looked at Eir. "I think I'll head back. Good luck if we don't meet before the trials."

[Eir]

"And you," Eir replied, "Force be with you." She took a sip of water from her canteen, and prepared to attempt to meditate.

[Mir]

"And with you." Mir bobbed a bow before taking his exit.
