(D0 N) Expectations

[O'vala Aeser]

I don't know what I did to deserve this. Those words reverberated inside the youngling's mind until she opened her focus back to the garden. She took a few, strained breaths and looked around her. Her surroundings had changed since when she had started meditating. No more were there others. The gardener had gone, the guests had gone. She looked at her watch and realized she had been meditating for over two hours.

Shoot, I need to get to bed. O'vala flopped back from her meditative pose and began to stretch out her stiffened legs. Afterwards, she turned her commlink back on to see what she had missed. The least surprising of all to her was another call from Avilea. Maybe I should block her...

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"There you are Valee!" A cheerful voice called as Silas came striding towards the miralian girl, a smile on his lips and a measuring tape in his hands.

"Do you have a few moments" He asked a sparkle of excitement in his eyes

[O'vala Aeser]

"You know Silas, I think we ought to talk about nicknames. I don't know if everyone is going to like them, you know? I'm fine with it but like, I dunno, if you have to represent the Order or something, somebody might get mad."

O'vala then peered at the tape. "What's that for?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Its not like I'm going to call you Valee in front of some Prince or Princess." The young man replied with a grin. "Just in laid back settings. Still, if you want to chat about it..." He shrugged before snatching onto the next point of the topic.

"Measurements." He declared proudly holding up the tape. "I need to make sure I have yours right! Can't have the sleeves too short, or the chest too tight!"

[O'vala Aeser]

"No, no, it's fine. I just think it's a bit informal, or something. We're Jedi, and whatnot." O'vala shrugged. "I don't really know Jedi stuff that well."

Too tight and it'd show how flat cheated I am. Oh man, my sister was totally more gifted there than I was. Sorry sis, it's true. The miralian crossed her arms. "Measurements for what, though? I'm a bit confused." She then narrowed her eyes. "Are you up so late looking to get this done?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, technically we are almost Jedi. Well, almost padawan's." He really wasnt sure if that made them.jedi or not. "If you want me to be more formal I suppose I can be... At least sometimes."

"It wont be finished tonight." Silas said with a easy smile. "You do need something to dance in though. Dancing in robes is pretty silly after all."

The young man stretched the tape between his two hands. "Which is why I'll make you something cute to wear! Like all those dancers on the holo's!"

[O'vala Aeser]

"No, no, it's fine. I dunno, just forget I said anything," O'vala said before waving the topic off.

"Yeah, I guess it's kind of hard to dance in all that stuff." She smiled at him. "Do you think the masters would get mad if I wore something like that though? I feel like most of them are a bit, uh, lewd, I guess?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Forgetting seemed easy enough for Silas, and the conversation was quickly pushed from his mind, there were more important matters at hand after all.

"It should be fine!" He assured her, though really he wasn't certain of that himself. "We just to make sure it's not super lewd or anything." As she seemed a bit more on board, he took a step forward fishing a datapad from the small case at his side. "I kinda had a top in mind. What did you think about a bottom though? Would you want pant's or a skirt?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Hm, I can't really do flips and stuff in a skirt, right? Unless I wear something underneath. But maybe that'd still be too inappropriate or whatever." O'vala sighed. "Dress codes are lame!"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"They are." Silas agreed with a serious nod. "Really though it's not like you will be wearing it all the time, so it should be ok." He thought she should be ok at least.

"Did you plan to do a lot of flips when dancing though?" Did people do flips when dancing? Those girls in the music video today hadn't seemed the type to do flips.

[O'vala Aeser]

"I guess I wouldn't be. Hm." She kind of wanted to. But that wasn't really a Jedi thing to do.

"Oh, I guess they don't really flip around a lot. But I'm afraid of like the skirt going too high with me jumping around or something."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Pants it is then." Silas offered with a nod, shorts were a option too... but.... No reason to bring that up now. They had already decided on pants. "Now stand straight so i can get some measurements."

"do you think they'd let you into one of those dance clubs if you looked the part?"

[O'vala Aeser]

O'vala did as asked and stretched out. She was rather lean due to eating like a bird and constantly exercising. Sometimes it was amazing how much energy she had.

"Well, I don't know how they feel about lightsabers." She then tilted her head. "Oh man! What about a lightsaber routine?!"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, that would probably be pretty neat." Silas mused as he began taking the young woman's measurements. His voice turning a bit teasing.

"You probably want to get your lightsaber before you start talking about though."

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh yeah, I guess I need that thing first. Hm, maybe two would make for a better routine? I mean, Ataru kind of fits it. But it's also pretty hard and tiring."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It's be cool though!" Silas offered helpfully. Two light sabers were better then one after all. "So you might give it a try. "

His hands circled her waist, completely innocent right? "did you have any colors you think you would like to wear? I was pondering gold for one.... I wasn't sure what else may work though."

[O'vala Aeser]

Having Silas' hands around her waist made her feel things that she didn't like feeling. But Jedi were supposed to be good at dealing with that sort of thing, so she didn't mention it. "Hm, I guess gold would go well with my skin." She held out her hands. "So many fashion things are for human girls. It's really unfair."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It is unfair!" Salias agreed. "Girls like you are beautiful, it's as shame that more don't see that." Vaalee, was one of the less scary girls as the temple, as a boy Silas had to make that know. "I'm glad i picked gold though." The approval was evident in his tone.

"I was hoping you would agree after all." He flashed a grin at his fellow student. "I thought you would look good in gold!"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Aww, thanks Silas. Um, well, there're also other pretty girls or other species too!" Zeltrons were pretty too, buf they were also popular in media due to their tendencies. Avilea had told her that it was a little degrading. "Oh, but yeah, gold. Wait, is it going to be super shiny?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I don't think it will be too shiny." The young man offered thoughtfully ass he continued his measurements. This would be easier if she was in her undergarments, but he wasn't about to ask her to strip, especially not out in the gardens. "That's true, Twi'lek are known for being lovely, and so are Zeltron. A lot of other species are cute too, like Pantorans and Mirilian's." He could name more, but there was no need.

"But, is it a bad thing if it's super shiny?"
