Though there was a tiny delay in the incoming holo-transmission, the voice of Master Syo Bakarn of the Jedi Council was clear and warm in its tone.

"Hello there," he favored them all with a smile. Kind and welcoming. "It is a great joy to see a group of such size pass their trials together. On behalf of the Jedi Council, we congratulate you all on this auspicious day when you join our ranks as Jedi."

The four masters and the two knights that had watched over the students all stood there together facing the new Jedi.

Silas stood amongst the rest of the students, perhaps a bit giddy about the comign anouncements. As he told Meli, he figured it wouldn't be one of these six that he was assigned to, and he was ratehr cruious what would come in the next few minutes. Still he tried to look poised, he was a Jedi now, not a trainee.

Esla was also here! After facing the tough challenge of constructing her lightsaber and finding her crystal, she thought she had accomplished her toughest challenges to graduate as a Jedi. However, she soon would realize that was only the tip of the iceberg and there were so many other difficult tasks and challenges awaiting her. That was perhaps something that naturally came with responsibility and it would likely only grow in the future. She would have to deal with them as they came. For now, she waited to see where would her path have her go next.

Her prescence was required, so Eir was present. Her arms were folded, hands tucked into her sleeves as usual.

Zanja stood with her shoulders back, as though the new lightsaber hanging at her belt had enough gravity of its own to change her entire posture. She had imagined feeling nervous waiting for this moment, but after the strange and alarming vision everyone had shared yesterday, the question of how and with whom she was going to spend her apprenticeship as a Jedi had lost most of its power to worry her. Whoever became her Master, things would be okay. Or at least, if there were problems to face, they'd be the bigger kind and come from other sources.

Byron arrived with some kind of breakfast food hanging from his mouth, but he was here and ready to move forward.

Ares was there, stiff and intense. He did flash a smile to the others though, when he heard their assignments.

"Byron," master Syo smiled to the oldest student. It was only fair to give a little seniority as this one had been a while in the making. "How happy we are for you on this day. And happy to know that your path will continue with one of our fine Jedi Knights as her first padawan. Knight Tethys Carrack who is on Bankor with your good friend Lunda Mae will soon be returning to us on Coruscant to meet you. We believe that the two of you will grow stronger by learning from eachother as well, and Knight Carrack's patience and calm will be a steady companion to guide you."

Byron nodded and said, "I'm honored, Master."

Jedi Cop was ready.

Zizzy stood with the other new Jedi, her tendrils drifting slowly, taking in the scene and the flow of the force. It was a happy day and she was so pleased for them all to have passed their trials. She smiled sweetly at any who caught her eye. Inwardly she was incredibly curious about who they would each be assigned to, but now she felt able to keep a calm lid on her questions.

Her lightsaber felt comfortable on her belt, though she still thought it would be best if she never had to use it outside of training. She bowed her head a little at the praise from the Jedi Council and exercised all the patience she could muster.

Of course Byron was first! He was the senior student afterall. Knight Tethys Carrack, she made a mental note to read up about her and gave Byron a friendly grin.

Syo chuckled warmly and nodded to Byron once more before moving on.

"Zizzy," he looked to the young Mikkian, his gaze steady and friendly as he spoke. "We were surprised that your wit, intelligence, and curiosity have caught the eye of a master who has not trained a padawan in a good while. But Master Reikiss expressed that he would be honored to teach you... saying that it was time for him to expand his horizons away from Coruscant again and view the galaxy along with a set of fresh young eyes by his side."

Zizzy was surprised too, she hadn't imagined that Master Reikiss would be keen to leave the Temple and all of his plants. A broad smile slipped into her lips. "I look forward to exploring the wonders of the galaxy with him. Thank you Master."

Maybe they would describe the weird shark from Auratera together? First things first though, Ossus beckoned...

"I'm sure it will be a great experience for the both of you," Syo assured her with warmth in his voice, before it was time to move on to the next.

"O'vala," his gaze turned to the Mirialan jedi. "First, let me say that we are very proud of how far you've come - know that your sister would have been very proud of you today as well. As for your future, you will be the first padawan for Knight Alysele Cortess. She has been working dutifully on Corellia since the signing of the peace treaty, and could teach you much of the ambassador-work of the Jedi. Though she is no stranger to combat herself. We greatly look forward to seeing the two of you learn from eachother in the future."

Silas didn't know the two knights that his friends Byron and O'vala had been assigned to. He was sure they would do well there though, and he was sure to give the two encouraging smiles.

That Master Reikiss had decided to mentor Zizzy was a big surprise, and Silas couldn't help but flash a wide smile as the Mikkian girl. Those two would most certainly work well together.

Master Chriala stepped forward. "Taime, Eir. It has been a pleasure of mine to be here with you, as you turn from students into Jedi." She smiled. "Although we never cease to be students."

She went on. "It will be my further pleasure to take you as my padawans. The three of us have learned much together. We shall continue to do so, perhaps not quite going on as we began; there is no stopping the flow of time, after all. And I think you will find a number of things will change."

Chriala took a moment to incline her head to each of them. "Our first task shall be to return to Coruscant. I want the two of you to help Glade as she settles into her new life."

She tilted her head. "And from there, out again. There are others like you, children who are just coming into their abilities. It is both a frightening and a dangerous time for them. The three of us shall work to keep them comforted and safe. Together."

Eir blinked in confusion, but held her presence of mind to bow her head, “thank you, Master Chriala.” The young half-arkanian frowned, sinking into thought.

Farissa nodded to Chriala, offering the Miralukan master a brief smile before she stepped forward herself. "Master Syo... I guess you were right that I'd end up with a padawan myself after all this."

She cleared her throat. "I'm not much for fancy speeches, or... well, I've never done this before. On this side, that is," Farissa laughed a little softly. "I knew these guys would rope me into this by the end of it, but honestly, I don't mind. You've all been great, really," she said to the students with a big grin, "and I would've been happy to be the mentor to many of you. But the one who stood out the most to me, who will take on as my padawan, is Esla."

She let the shock sink in for a moment. "You're quiet, but you're clever and you observe - and that's good. You understand the nuances of social interaction, which is where I am very often myself, and I think we could both learn a lot from eachother. So, I'm honored if you'll be my first padawan, Esla."

Esla smiled softly when Farissa took centre stage, as it was often a cheerful sight to see Farissa around with her confidence and supportive demeanour. However, it came as a surprise that she would be taking on a padawan herself and having been chosen to be that padawan. Her posture went ridged as she stood to on attention as she was imbued with this honour, as well as the unspoken responsibility that may come with it.

She gingerly stepped forward and gave Farissa an honoured bow with a hand on her heart. "Thank you, Knight Farissa. I look very much to learning from you and making the best of our time together."

After her piece was said, she stepped back to where she once was.

Orgus chuckled softly. "You did fine, Farissa. I usually prefer short and simple, myself. Like this."

He gave Silas a nod. "Silas. I don't often take a padawan, but I think you and I work well together. How about it?"

But he did go on. "You've got what it takes to be a great Jedi, Silas. But also the humility to keep it from going to your head." He smiled. "You can help remind me from time to time."

He was happy to see Que and Pixie matched with Master Chriala, and perhaps even happier to see Aina and Ionee together. Summer and Winter, it was certainly a good pairing. Eventually though it came time for him to be picked.

"Sure thing." Silas replied giving the older man a bright smile and a thumbs up. It seemed to be the things to say in reaction to Ogrus' casual attitude.

"I'll be sure to do my best to help you there, It's not like the Republic needs another Captain Alderaan after all." Silas was really super pleased with the choice, he liked Master Ogrus, and knew he could learn a lot from him. Not just a lot about ladies either. His smile was broad as he looked over the rest of the crowd, ready to hear the final few choices.
