The morning news with the Ithorian man didnt have anything on the shows with Nebula Starr, honestly it was a bit boring. Then again, maybe that's something Ithorians found attractive.

Either way it did at least have some interesting bits to it. Like missing people! There was a the bit about the Kiliks too, but somehow that seemed a bit convenient. Anyways if Kilik's were known as a dangerous species, wouldn't the military or someone of made a move by now?

It didnt add up, and there was a Sith presence on the planet, so silas decided to pull out his datapad. Maybe he can find the areas of town people had been going missing from? Someone must have compiled a list.

Computers to try to find info on the missing persons: 1eP+2eA 5 successes

It wasn't hard to find the various news articles and broadcasts about it. Silas successfully found at least eight cases of missing people where the family had publicly gone out with information and picture about the missing person, but there seemed to be more than these that were not public knowledge.

The missing people seemed to vary in age and race. Of the ones he found, there was a middle-aged female human, a teenage female zabrak, a male ithorian in his prime, a male twi'lek in his 20s, a little human girl less than ten years old, another male ithorian in his senior years, a male human recently turned 20, a female human in her 30s.

While he was tapping away at his datapad, he could hear voices in the hallway outside of the room (Threat activated).

Huh, that seemed to be a rather interesting assortment of people, and it seemed like they didnt live in any certain part of the city either.

The ages seemed to suggest it wasn't slavers either. Who kidnaps old men for slave labor? A frown on his lips he picked the first name he found and began looking into them. That was when he heard the voices, and after placing down his datapad, he drifted towards the door to try and hear who might be coming.

Lya Jierre was the first name listed. The wife of the leader of Defenders of Dewbright, the group that had popped up after the disappearances begun... according to the news-reports they were also often harassing police and local government to go on the offensive against the Killiks which they claimed to be responsible for the disappearaces.

In the hallway, he could hear two voices.

"... sir, again, the guest floors are reserved for hotel guests only." It sounded like one of the hotel-workers.
"I care not," a male voice with a very distinct accent replied. "Leave me be, and I will leave in a few moments myself."

Hrm.... Maybe there was something odd about Lya? Something that stood out? He'd have to try and dig up her space book page. Maybe it would list her occupation? Could be there would be clues in her timeline too.

That would have to wait though, as the voices had really caught his attention. That accent was weird too, where was it from?

Thanks to the Nar Shaddaa peace-treaty, he had now heard that Imperial accent a few times. Few other accents in the galaxy could sound so full of arrogance and spite in one breath.

It almost sounded like a growl. Followed by the distraught hotel-worker's voice, "i-i-if you insist, sir...p-p-please don't be long, or I'll call security."
"If you wish," the almost growl-like Imperial voice responded.

That wasn't good! Not good at all! Waiting for a few moments hoping the man had passed by his room, Silas quietly opened the door, hoping whoever it was wouldn't notice as he tried to get a better look at the mean Imperial.

Maybe he was a sith and here to try and kidnap someone!?

The door opened gently. Popping his head out, Silas could see a tall robed figure with the hood pulled up so it was mostly hiding the face, but he could catch a glimpse of ridged red skin briefly. The Imperial seemed to stop outside each room and stare at the door intently before moving to the next, as if sensing for something.

Silas was a master of stealth, he even managed to bash the door into his toe on accident and not make a sound.

Red skin? Ridges? It definitely wasn't a Zeltron, they had pretty smooth skin. Maybe a Sith? An actual Sith, with filed teeth and everything!? Not wanting to disturb the fellow but curious as to his actions, Silas continued to watch. Maybe he was looking for something with the force? But what?

The Sith(???) continued down the hall, clearly growing more frustrated as could be seen in his movements rushing more between each door, until he swiftly turned the corner at the end of the hall towards the elevators.

Well, a smart youngling would duck into his room and hope the guy just went away. Silas was only occasionally smart though. Si slipping out of his room he placed down the hall, hoping to spot what the man was up to.

He saw the hooded man standing by the elevator, clearly agitated as he repeatedly hit the button for the elevator and then pacing impatiently as he waited.

Behind Silas came one of the cleaners, giving a big wave and a loud "Hello, sir! How are you?" (Threat introduced)

Meep! Why did people have to be so noisy!? Still all Silas could do was try to play it off. Turning towards the worker he smiled.

"Hi!" He greeted them cheerily. "I'm okay, I just kinda poking around. I'm new to staying in hotels."

"I'm not bothering anyone, am i?"

"Not at all, sir!" the chubby man said with a smile. "Anything I can do to help, just ask. We're here to serve you guys here, not the other way around." At his little joke about Jedi serving others, he gave a jolly laugh.

"Oh! That's super nice of you." Silas said with a grin. "I was wondering if we could get a extra pillow or two for our room? Or something that would work as cushions for us to sit on the floor with."

It was hard to play cards sitting flat on the floor.

"Sure thing. I will have that sent up to your room in a few minutes. Which room-number you in?" he asked, taking out his comm to pass on the message.

"Oh." He grinned., and flashed a look behind him. "I'm in 307." Silas said, trying to gauge his tone so it wouldn't carry too far.

There was a 'ping'-sound from the elevator, indicating it had arrived, soon followed by opening doors.

"Okeli-dokeli, sir. We'll have have some nice comfy pillows sent to your room soon. Have a pleasant day!"

"Thanks, Sir." Silas replied with a grin, before turning to move back towards the elevator. He didnt intend to catch it, but hopefully he could tell if it went up or down.

The elevator went down, and the screen above the number indicated it went down to the lobby.
