Taime's face paled a bit, watching the big fish attack, but he pushed his fear down. "A bigger ship could be useful. Though a small ship might be faster."

He nodded at the farghul. "Did you catch a lot of fish where you're from? It sounds like a useful skill."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Of Course!" Silas offered with a slightly mischevious grin, adding a moment later. "Well, I could make one! A blaster rod might be cool, I'd have to draw up some plans thoguh, I've never tried to to make one before." HE pulled out his datapad to start makign notes, and missed the even digger fish eating the big fish.

That was soo cool! "A lot bigger ship." He agreed with a enthuisastic nod.

Further chatter was interrupted by their arrival at the reef, and Silas found himself turnign to stare at it. Wow, this was way cool

[Mir]

Taime's face paled a bit, watching the big fish attack, but he pushed his fear down. "A bigger ship could be useful. Though a small ship might be faster."

He nodded at the farghul. "Did you catch a lot of fish where you're from? It sounds like a useful skill."

"Bigger ship if want to catch that that..." Mir was waving his paw towards the void that hid the larger fish. "That big fish. Bigger fish." the poor farghul was almost hyperventilating. "Well, some fish. Mostly we got fish when we found a lot of good scrap. Small fish though, this long." Mir spanned maybe 3-4 inches with his fingers. "Still, much better than can food."

[Eir]

Eir's attention was glued to the reef, her glowing eyes darting from one monumental structure to the next, following fish and other sea life as they went about their daily business. There were colours she'd never imagined, and the holos had definitely not done justice to the intricate arrays of corals and anemones. Her lips moved as she said something that wasn't quite audible.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy moved over beside Eir. "It's beautiful. More and more and more beautiful. Look at that shoal! Like a rainbow."

She was enchanted. Even the big fish/bigger fish incident was just the coolest thing!

[Eir]

"Look at how they move in unison, not thinking, just doing," Eir breathed. "It's amazing, there must be more types of coral in this reef alone than species in the Republic."

[Zizzy Roosh]

"I wonder if anyone has tried counting them? And are they the same species, but adapted to different depths, or different species growing on top of each other? Or both of the things I said? And are their symbionts all the same or are they different species too? And where's Master Orgus when I'm on a question roll? Damnit." She chuckled.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Don't you think Master Reikiss, would be best to answer those types of questions?" Silas asked as he looked over the Coral. Though he was pretty sure the two masters with them would be able to do just as well.

Taime nodded along, understanding most of it, if not quite the zeal that Mir had about fish. "I bet its like the difference between a real meal and field rations. They fill you up but taste like chalk. Weird meat chalk."

[Murah Bakash]

Murah sighed a sigh of relief as they were now moving by the reef. "I never get used to being underwater," she murmured to Corvin and gave him an appriciative nod for his piloting. "But the view is fantastic."

She got up from her seat to check on the students, seeing them all enjoying the sights too.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy looked up at Master Bakash and smiled. She hadn't had much of a chance to talk with her of late. "Master Murah? Do you know if the corals all have the same symbionts, or are they all different species too? There's so much life here, it's incredible!"

[Murah Bakash]

"Many different ones," Murah explained as she joined Eir and Zizzy. "There's many different corals here that we can see, and they have different structures, needs, and purposes." She paused to admire the aquatic scenery as well, knowing that her master would've known more but he hated being underwater more than she did.

"But yes, there is so much life here. Reach out with your senses, and you can feel it, even just outside the ship."

Already some fish with sucker-like mouths were attaching to the ship and joining the ride.

Sensing? Silas wasn't very good at sensing living things, but he could sense the ship around they, well if he concentrated on it.

Still no reason to interrupt Meli's and Pixie's lesson so settling into his seat he pulled out his datapad and began project giant blaster fishing rod. Though it was really just a starting sketch...

[Corvin Zell]

"I'm piloting." Corvin growled, although with good humor. "Direct your hundreds of questions to Master Murah for the time being."

He glanced over, checking the charts. The students would feel the ship turn as he guided it towards the wall. Or, as they discovered after a moment, to a large gap in the wall.

Soon, the coral was all around the small vessel.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy did as she was instructed and tried to reach out with the force. She wasn't advancing very quickly with Sense yet, but she was sure she could feel something. Like a background hum. But in her cells.

[Esla Tor]

Esla was present! Perhaps she managed to get one of the seats at the back, which was fine if it was a window seat. She eyed the view of all of the fish and the sea at first then was in complete awe when they arrived at their destination.

[Zanja]

"Whoa," Zanja muttered softly as the water craft entered the tunnel into the reef. Then she frowned at a sucker-mouthed fish that had attached itself to the window almost at her eye level. "Ecch. Gross. You can't eat transparisteel, fish."

[O'vala Aeser]

"But what if it can? Animals eat all sorts of weird stuff." O'vala went closer to the glass and stared at the fish. "Oh man."

[Faily]

The fish was unresponsive to the curious students.

"It probably thinks we're a big fish that it can clean," Murah said with a chuckle.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Uh, huh." Silas agreed with Valee from his seat, though his eyes were still on his datapad.

"Plastisteel isnt even that odd of a thing for animals to eat." Silas added with a grin. "Though Master Murah is probably right." He finished a moment later as he looked up.

"Oooo. That's cool looking."
