Byron nodded and felt that was as good as it was going to get. He consumed another roasted wiener and then laid back holding her hand. It was cold but brought some comfort that in the whole wide galaxy for just a moment Jedi Cop could relax even if it may be a false sense of security.

Byron finally said, “I appreciate it.”

For some reason, that made Drascovina laugh softly. "Sith are complicated people, Byron. Sometimes showing mercy can be strength. Sometimes..." She shrugged. "Well, we're susceptible to the occasional bout of weakness. Just as Jedi can occasionally be impressive. Occasionally." She smirked.

Her hand shifted comfortably in his. "I suppose you're not so bad yourself." She sighed pleasantly, letting the side of her blonde head rest against his shoulder.

"We do have our moments of greatness, but really it is the moments we share with people we care about that really matter, even if that goes contrary to what the old scholars preach about our respective Codes," Byron responded.

"Eh, I think I talk too much... or maybe think too much," he said more to himself. He turned to her wrapping another arm around her, avoiding the classic mistake of leaving an arm under her... romantic but also leads to dead arms. He stroked her hair and did what Jedi Cop was second best at right behind getting the bad guys, hopefully getting the girl with a romantic kiss.

Well, it definitely got him a kiss, at least. Drascovina leaned into his embrace, meeting his lips with her own, responding with enthusiasm. Possibly even passion; that was the Sith way, after all.

She pulled back suddenly, blue eyes glinting. "Byron..." She said, her voice almost playful. "After your journey is done, will you be a Jedi? A full Jedi, I mean, not a student."

"It is a little unclear I believe we will be Padawans... the last step before full Jedi. I guess to most everyone else it would seem that we are Jedi as we will have our lightsabers."

"I see." Drascovina murmured. She looked down, then up at him through her lashes.

"And once you are a Jedi... will you think of me, sometimes? Perhaps when you are studying, or meditating, or working in a soup kitchen, feeding puppies, whatever it is you do?"

"I would have to be dead to forget you," he replied warmly.

Her eyes narrowed, even as her smile grew. "Good..."

"Well then, meditate on this, Jedi cop, until the next time we meet. The secret of the Sith is what I told you before..." Drascovina leaned a little closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "We are never satisfied. We always want more. When you think on me, think of that."

Her chin tilted up. "You may kiss me again."
