Way Down Below The Ocean (LMD4, OPEN)

There were a number of water craft available for use. The Jedi masters had selected one of the nicer ones. It was large and sturdy, but moved smoothly. The seats were far from luxurious, but were adequately comfortable, at least. Large transparisteel panels provided excellent opportunity for viewing.
Guided by Corvin's skilled handling, the craft dove deeper. Except for the hum of the engines, this was scarcely noticeable, compensators keeping those inside from feeling the effects of the pressure change. The water outside was a deep blue. "We should be coming up on the reef in just a few minutes." Corvin said, tossing a quick glance back over his shoulder.

"This. Is. So. Cool!" Zizzy's face had been pressed up against the transparisteel panels for the entire journey. Her tendrils were either against the panel or sticking out at strange angles.
"I've never been in one of these things before. Ooh. Ooh. Some sort of ray!" They hadn't even reached the reef and she was already excited by all of the marine life.

Eir was incredibly excited to tour the reef. She'd seen holos in the archives, but that couldn't compare to the vibrant colours of the real thing.

"Oh man," O'vala muttered to herself. Going underwater had a certain feeling of claustrophobia for a girl who was used to breaking rules and flipping anywhere she wanted.

Zanja had to admit this was fascinating. Her home planet's oceans were muddy, acidic puddles, and Coruscant was, well, Coruscant. She'd never seen such sparkling water, so full of life. Though as the craft descended toward the reef, she couldn't help also thinking about the poor odds of holding her breath long enough to swim to the surface from here.
She tried to practice more of what Farissa had been teaching her, reaching out through the Force to the living things beyond the transparisteel, but mostly she sensed (or at least, was preoccupied by) the vast weight of water overhead. She scowled slightly, but the viewport still held her attention.
"Is all this stuff native wildlife? Or did the settlers bring it here?"

Ares sat nervously in the background, but slowly stood up and moved to the others. He didn't say a word though.

"Wow!" Silas offered, his lips spread in a large grin. "I never thought water could be so pretty." Having more or less spent the entireity of his life on Coruscant, scenes like this weren't anything that he had much expierence with. Well outside of books and stuff liek that

Mir, wearing is BeyRan shades was leaning against the railing and looking into the iridescent blue waters beneath, both hoping to grasp a glimpse of something and curious of if the things swimming below were edible.

Taime was a bit nervous, what with being under so much water. But everyone else seemed calm, so it was probably fine, right?

Keeping most of his attention on piloting, Corvin shook his head. "It's almost all native. The settlers have been doing their best to have minimal ecological impact. So far, they've done pretty well." For a moment, it looked like he was about to say more, but his lips pressed closed.
Up ahead, what looked like a giant wall could be seen. Behind, a rather large fish had begun trailing the craft.

Looking around in his nerves, Taime saw the large fish. "Uhh. Master Corvin. Do fish usually follow the craft?"

"Only if they are hungry." Silas replied with a teasing grin, as he turned to look at their stalker.

Meanwhile Mir moved his posterior to the after of the ship, his tail swooshing back and forth. "Mother of all kriffing fishies.." he leaned against the rear window in hopes of seeing the thing better.

Taime watched Mir's tail, finding it a bit fascinating. But then he remembered the giant fish. "Uhh..you're joking, right Silas?"
Turning to Mir, he says "Yeah. How big do you think it is? Its hard to tell from here."

"Is 'uuuge." Mir turned, his
eyes wide open. "The biggest kriffin fish I've ever seen." he licked his lips. "Moves pretty slow though. I think I could catch it."

"You can probably think of us as some sort of giant fishing lure, Que." Silas offered with a nod. "Not that we probably need to worry much, these ships are pretty tough, and I imagine have deterrents of some kind just in case."
"Wouldn't want the tourists getting eaten or anything."
Mir's comment brought a smile to Silas's lips. "I bet you could Napz! It'd take forever to eat that much fish though."

Taime couldn't decide if Silas's words were comforting or not. "What if I don't want us to be a lure?"
To Mir he said, "Can you swim?"

"Well." He paused thoughtfully. "There is probably someway the force can be used to make us look less tasty? Different colorization of the vessel might be effective as well, that is if the fish is a sight based predator." Which seemed to be the case.
"Other then that? Stick away from places where creatures are large enough to eat you."

For anyone who was looking at Corvin's face instead of the big fish following them, they would see the knight frown. He didn't say anything, but the craft began to move a little faster. The fish followed.
The maneuvering proved unnecessary, though. Even as they watched, an even larger fish swooped in, seemingly out of nowhere. It's mouth opened wide, and while it couldn't quite swallow the first fish in one bite, it did take it solidly about the middle. The struggling pair quickly fell away from the boat, and out of sight.
"Coming up on the outer edge now." Corvin growled. Now that they were closer, they could see that the wall was made of a huge amount of coral, stretching up above the surface, and down... down farther than could be seen. Corvin slowed the craft to a near stop, angling to move along the wall. Sea critters could be seen darting in and out of the coral here and there.

"Silas, you have a huge rod?" his ears perked. "Huge rode to kriff the 'uge fishy?" Mir stretched his paws wide. "Might need blaster-rod or something for a fishy that big." the farghul teen sounded all too excited and then went quiet. He watched the larger fish attack the one that had been following their submersible and then turned back to Silas. "We might need a bigger ship. And one kriffing 'uge rod."
"Ohh, Taime was it, neh?" he turned his attention to the other human. Almost human. Hairless humanoid. "Oh I can swim. Well, not this deep. But I can."
