[Day 7 -LA] Jedi Cop IV: Long Punch Goodnight

Well, at the very least they had a couple, arranging his own mask so he could put it on in a emergency Silas waited for a signal from Zanja.
"Anyone know what the hollowing could be?" He asked after a few moments.

"Some type of force creature, that's attracted to the dark side? Or maybe something the Sith like to use as guard animals?"

Zanja is able to move real close and find a good spot not far from the entrance. She doesn't see any light coming from within, but now that she's closer there does seem to be a droid stationed a few feet inside, keeping watch for any trespassers.

The spot she found is easy for the others to join with her direction.

"Maybe. Seems unlikely Destrus found some creature like that here, and I know he didn't bing any tuk'ata from Korriban..." Kerren got his own rebreather and looked around to see if anyone needed the spare.

Byron needed a spare as he stated, "I am guessing the defenses will be more mundane."

[Kerren Sek]

The pureblood passed the rebreather over to him. It was only fair since he had given him a weapon.

[Zanja]

Zanja waved the others forward to the vantage point. "Looks like they don't have a lot of security," she whispered. "Unless it's all inside there."

[Byron Mik]

Byron approached and said softly, "So how do you want to handle the approach?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That droid is going to spot us a mile away unless we can find a way to draw him out or something." Silas murmured as he joined them. Maybe if he had better control of his powers he might be able to shut it off from here.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Having not had time in RL to claim the breather Zizzy was pleased to find one in the spares compartment of the speeder (Destiny point if that's cool with you Faily?). Returning to the group she surveyed the scene and attuned her tendrils. Maybe there was a way around the droid?

"Looks like..."

D7. MM. Perception check, unknown difficulty. Tendril boost: 2eP+1eA+1eB 3 successes, 4 advantage

There didn't seem to be any ways around it, as it was a fairly new excavation (which left little room for old backdoors). However, she could see that the passageway further in narrowed considerably... too much for the droid to walk through. So it could only walk around near the entrance or outside.

"... the droid is stuck outside. It can't run in. But now I wonder if the howling I heard was the droid making an alarm sound?"

She looked at the Scooby gang. "I don't suppose anyone can hack in and deactivate it remotely can they?"

"I could just smash it," Byron offered.

"I am not sure we brought the right tools for a wireless hack of a droid. Unless someone has a spike we can use."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I have my slicing gear, but I don't think that will do the trick." Silas replied to the talk of hacking the droid. "I don't really havee any spikes either." Those were pricey and pretty hard to find.

"Do you think it will move out to investigate anythign suspicious?"

[Kerren Sek]

"It might? Probably the best chance," Kerren scowled at the entrance.

[Byron Mik]

"I can act as a distraction?" Byron offered.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Then the rest of us Byronate it? I mean beat it into submission? That does sound like a Jedi Cop plan." She gave Byron an amused smile. "Unless anyone has an alternative plan?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, if one of us draws it away, the others could potentially sneak inside while it's distracted." Silas offered thougtfully.

"Though taking it out of the equation more permanetly would likely be wiser."

[Byron Mik]

"I am fine with beating it down or using me as bait while the rest of you slip in. I am leaving them in your care Kerren, I trust you will bring them back in one piece," he said confidently.

"Don't worry about me, Jedi Cop has more than a few sequels left in his franchise."

[Kerren Sek]

"Wait, what?" the Pureblood scowled at the sudden responsibility shifted over to him. "Tch. Fine."

Silas wasn't quite sure why Byron left such a important task to Kerren, but he wasn't going to argue it. Sometimes it was best to just let things be. "Well, I guess iif we have a basic plan then, and no one has anything to add we can begin." He said, looking at the other members of the group.
