Byron had grabbed enough breakfast for the tent, which meant he had his hands full when he entered and set it down on the boxes they were using as a table. He said loudly to any inside, “Breakfast is served!”
Nothing fancy pretty simple fare, but it was food.

The call for breakfast had Silas peeking inside the tent, he'd been waiting for his roommates to wake up before eating, and it seemed they had been up later then usual.
Flashing a smile at Byron he walked towards the boxes. "Morning, Cap."

"Hey, just trying to get the lazy blokes up, have some breakfast," he said.

"Thanks." Silas flashed a smile at Byron and began to make himself a plate. "Who cooked this morning anyways?"

The Sith hadn't slept well, and it was with a grumpy morning face that he joined them after Byron's calling. Or maybe he just always had a bit of a grumpy face? "So much noise..."

"I have no idea, but it should get you going," he replied.
"Good morning Kerren, how did you sleep?"

He gave a shrug and instead gave a hungry look at the food. "I've slept in better and worse places. Didn't expect so much snoring, though."

"The orchestra of sleep," he joked,

Silas blinked, he wasnt sure why the Sith was here, but there was probably a reason. After a few moments eyeing the other boy he spoke. "Hi, I'm Silas."

"Right," he nodded to Silas. "Kerren."
Grabbing something to drink first, he glanced to Byron. "I guess not everyone knows yet?"

“Oh… you had not heard, that’s Kerren he defected to Team Jedi. Came in last night, so now he wants to be with us and we are all going to be here for him during this transition. Hey maybe he knows a thing or two about the kidnappings?” he said to Silas.
“Not to bombard you with questions but Good Cop and Jedi Cop have been looking into some kidnappings and we found some leads that lead back to the Sith or this slave running company, Ogon, right? Good Cop has the details.”

Byron sure seemed go talk alot sometimes, but then there were some questions Silas had been wanting to ask himself.
Still Byron seemed to have it in hand, so he merely nodded. "I see. Well, welcome Kerren."

He eyed the two of them warily, but that also seemed to be a natural expression of his. "What details?"

Byron glanced at Silas and then back to Kerren, “The Killiks showed me a vision that people with lightsabers attacked their nests and we thought the Killiks may have retaliated to kidnap people but we did not find them among their number. So we suspected the Sith were behind it, so we figure maybe you know a thing about that and can help us find those people if the Sith were involved,” he said kindly.
“Help us find the people, that is all I want. If we can avoid a conflict with the Sith, all the better.”

Kerren's lips pressed into a hard line. Trust was a thing that was difficult to build, and treason wasn't always easy either.
"...We, they... err... the Sith, did attack the Killiks. Not to wipe them out. Just for sport. Some of the acolytes got a gun and told to shoot at targets. Don't really know why the Lord did that, but he's a difficult one to understand." He shrugged, a bit uncaring about thinking too much about it. "As for the missing people... I know Destrus is responsible for some of them. Killiks got some, I think?"

“Why would Destrus kidnap the locals? For his research?” he responded.

Kerren nodded. "I don't understand the details of it, but they should be alive still. I don't know where they are, but he's got some ideas about experimenting with people's connection to the Force. Particularly those who are Force sensitives. Something about planting seeds of darkness in them."

Byron nodded and said, “Thanks Kerren, I know that was probably not the easiest thing to be hit with first thing in the morning and I apologize but if those people are alive then we need to find them. Maybe the Masters will know a way to track them down if you don’t have an idea of where they could be. I assume he is smart enough to not leave them on his ship.”
"Thoughts, Silas?"

"It wouldn't be on the ship," Kerren said after a sip of water. "I think it's somewhere in that big mountain range... which is basically like trying to look for the needle in the heystack, since it's full of hidey-holes."

"Well it may seem impossible but we have to find a way," Byron said confidently.
