With Hammer High (Day ! Early Evening Hangar)

There was to be adventure! Which meant Silas needed a few things to help prepare. He didn't have much in the way of defensive equipment, and it was likely he would need some before all this was said and done. This wasn't the type of job one did in their room either, so heading to the Hangar he claimed one of the work benches and got to work.

It would take some time, but he had at least a little free time in this part of his training. Hopefully he'd be able to finish before they all left though. The construction seemed to be going well, and while he wanted to make it flashy he decided to follow Knight Kho's advice instead. It should be useful

[O'vala Aeser]

"Is this one of your costumes too?" O'vala shouted from across the hangar. She ran up to him and peered at it. "Doesn't look like it to me. Are you going to ever make something like that for yourself?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It's funner to make stuff for other people Valee." Silas replied looking up from his work. "I do make stuff for myself sometimes though, like this armor I'm working on."

"Though I'm not sure I'd call it a costume, it will be functional and look cool!"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh, is it done? Do I get to see you in it?" O'vala peered at it. "Maybe you should make one that matches me! Come on, we can do some dance routines and such. They're not so hard."

"I dont think the armor will be good for dancing." Silas mused as he looked down at it. "Its still pretty far from done too.

"Your outfit is done though!" He added hastily, gesturing towards a package next to the bench. "As for dancing? Maybe? At the very least I can give it a try sometime?" Hopefully he wouldn't embarrass himself...

"What if you made it like super flexible armor?" O'vala asked. She didn't really know about these things.

"Oh, oh!" The miralian rushed over to the box and started tugging at the opening. "Have I really never had you dance? Huh! Whacky!"

"I suppose that could work." He stopped to think about that for a few moments.. "But I'd have to start with that in mind."

"Ah, I've been a bit weary of it, I dont think I'm good at dancing. I suppose I should try though." The box came open easily enough, and while the outfit did look a little like a costume.It was likely something she could dance in.

"Really? Can't just wing it, huh? Armor making sounds really long and difficult and stuff."

O'vala held it out and tilted her head. "Was the bare midriff really necessary? I think the masters might be a little skeptical."

"It's a dance outfit! it needed some sex appeal." He replied beaming a grin at the young woman. "Otherwise it might as well be a track suit or something." He finished sagely. "Anyways, if the masters were worried about a bit of skin being seen, we wouldn't bunk two to a room." The last was said with a firm nod.

"It can take a long time, and you need to know what you want before you get started, different types of armor need different materials to make it after all."

[O'vala Aeser]

I wonder how Avilea would look in it... no, no, no. O'vala shook her head and then looked Silas over. How would HE look in something like that? No, no, no. She shook her head again. "I guess that's true. But isn't it more economical to share rooms? What if we had even more roommates, or something?"

She sighed. "I don't know how you keep up with all that. I barely have enough time to keep up with all the practices we have to do."

"Hrmm... good question." He stopped to wonder that for a few moments. "Maybe two is enough to save space, and keep us all from getting into too much trouble? With four it'd be super easy to stay up late telling stories, and playing cards and the like. right?" That's what people did at sleep overs, or so he had heard.

"But what do you think? did you want to try it on?" Was there someplace she could change around here? "All this? Well, some of it is part of my practice, so that's part of it."

[O'vala Aeser]

"You can stay up all night telling stories to just one person though." Among other things.

O'vala looked around and then shrugged. "I dunno where is appropriate to change!"

She looked again at the bench. "Is it? I don't remember sewing class."

"You know we don't all go to the same classes." Silas teased with a light chuckle. "I learned it when you were off learning to do flips and stuff." He paused thoughtfully. "Though I suppose you could join the class if you wanted.

Pausing too look around he pointed across the hall. "There is a refresher room over there, though I suppose it could wait for another time instead? Maybe try it on in your room or something first." That seemed to make sense to him.

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh yeah. I guess you're not just off doing whatever instead of not attending my classes."

O'vala looked down the hall and nodded. "Okay!" She took the box and ran off in an exuberant sprint. Once inside, she practically tore off her clothes and stuffed herself into the costume. She didn't even take the time to look at herself in the mirror before coming back to Silas. "How do I look?"

Stuffed was probably an apt word for it. The clothing was rather firm fitting after all. Still her appearance got a grin from Silas. "You look great!" He exclaimed happily.

"Does it fit okay? Can you move in it pretty well?" There were likely more questions he had too, but he very much tried bot to flood her with too many.

O'vala did her best to stretch for some flips and then smiled. "Well, I think I'll want to get used to it first before I start trying my flips." She then began poking her abs a bit. "Good thing I'm pretty fit, huh?"

"Yup." Silas replied with a chipper smile, he most definitely wasnt staring as the girl poked her abs. "I tried to keep that in mind when I picked the design."

"But yeah, you probably do want to get used to it." Hopefully it wouldn't tear or something.

"Oh I see. I wonder if the pop girls do other stuff then if they don't have a nice belly." O'vala poked herself again.

"Probably." Honestly pop wasnt a subject he was a expert in. "I've never really considered it really." He'd been far more interested in other parts of them after all.

"Do you listen to a lot of pop music?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Yeah! I lost my earbuds though. Otherwise, I'd probably be listening to music a lot more around here!" She narrowed her eyes and wondered where they even went. "Hm. I'd really like to find them."
