[Ares Pax]

Ares fell silent. His body was strong, that was plain.

He didn't doubt his spirit. He had plenty, even. A fiery spirit, driving him forward, ever to this day. He wouldn't back down. Never, no matter what foe he would face.

His mind... "I don't think I'm smart." he replied plainly.

[Orgus Din]

"I see." Orgus said, his voice still gentle. "Ares, do you know the difference between intelligence and wisdom?" It was unlikely that he was looking for the difference as described in popular roleplaying games.

[Ares Pax]

"Erm....I think both can be learned from books? Or not?" he asked timidly.

[Orgus Din]

Smiling, Orgus shook his head. "There's been a lot written about the differences between these two things. I've always favored the simplest one. Intelligence is what you know. Wisdom is how you know yourself. How well do you know yourself, Ares?"

[Ares Pax]

Ares pondered. "I.. think I know myself well? I try to keep in mind what I'm good at, and what not, and take that into account." He took a breath. "Juyo requires concentration, and to understand how we are dancing on the edge."

[Orgus Din]

"It does." Orgus said with a nod. "All the more reason to know yourself. It's good to know where you stand when you're right next to an edge like that."

"Anyway." Orgus went on. "The Jedi code talks about knowledge. But it doesn't get too specific on that. Still, if you ask me, more of what the Jedi look for is wisdom, rather than intelligence." He gave Ares a steady nod. "Stick with that, and you'll do fine."
