The Processional Way is the main boulevard leading from the Temple Precinct to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Beginning at a large public landing platform, the road terminated at the main entry staircase that led deep into the Temple proper, the Processional Way was established by the Galactic Republic as the main road and access point to the Order's headquarters on Coruscant.
It's pathway is crowned by four statues: two Warrior Masters and two Sage Masters.
To ensure the safety and privacy of the Temple, five Padawans are tasked with guarding the Temple during the day, while two Knights oversee the watch in the evening. All guard duties Temple-wide are overseen by the Jedi Gate Master, currently Master Kerra Oblero.

An aging Zabrak, Master Oblero has "retired" to the post of Jedi Gate Master after the peace treaty with the Empire, as she is no longer needed to fight the Sith and she knows she's getting too old to head into warzones these days. Besides, she was never much for becoming a teacher, as she has only trained one padawan in her long career, and considers this new post to ease her into a more quiet peace of mind that is needed for helping the future generation of the Jedi Order.
