EVENT: Decieved (D6, Early Night)

[Orgus Din]

Byron came back, Orgus in tow. The Jedi Master was dressed in his usual robes, presumably because it took him about five seconds to dress.

"Good evening." He said to their visitor. "Kerren, wasn't it? Byron here has told me you want to speak to a Jedi master." He looked around, at all the other students. "Anything else I should know?"

[Faily]

"I am not afraid of that brat, no," he said in a sour tone and continued his glare-off with Ares. Had this been some cheesy frontier-holo movie, one of them would've said: this planet ain't big enough for the both of us.

He did however look away from Ares, eventually, when Orgus arrived. "Master Jedi," he began, for a moment not sure how to continue. "... I have come to defect."

[Orgus Din]

"Alright." Orgus nodded. "Why don't you tell me a little about why, exactly?"

[Faily]

His eyes narrowed, looking to the jedi students, as if saying with them here?!. "... Because of the vision the vergence showed me. And that I have no intention dying at the hands of my master."

[Orgus Din]

"Lord Destrus does have a reputation." Orgus said blandly.

He looked around. "You've been talking to him. What do you think?" He addressed the students.

[Mir]

"He has a bag." Mir noted, pointing at the thing the sith was carrying. "And likely weapons somewhere. If he was here to gank people he's not very clever. Or then he is clever-clever. Trying to make us think he is not clever." he tilted is his head to the side. "But he said he wanted to talk. Maybe let him talk, see what he has to say. That is what jedi do, right?"

[Byron Mik]

“Yeah he does and I have tried to warn Lady Malveaux about his reputation but she seems confident she will survive his schemes.”

He looked at the Sith and said, “I believe we help him, the Force brought him a vision and brought him into our orbit. I believe helping him is the right thing as long as he strives to leave behind what he was and learned. It won’t be an easy journey, probably harder than ours, but if we can help him we should.”

“At the same time we should take precaution in case this is a ploy by the Sith or if Lord Destrus takes offense at us offering Kerren asylum.”

[Zizzy Roosh]

"I think he has a big fat attitude problem... But that's kind of to be expected given what he's grown up in. The compassionate thing would be to give him a chance." She tapped her lip a few times. "I think helping him is the right thing to do, but I agree with Byron about taking precautions."

[Orgus Din]

"Well." Orgus said, looking back to Kerren. "Sounds like my students think you should have a chance. And I trust them. Guess that's how it's going to be then."

"I give you my word that no harm will come to you. And we'll take you in. But I do need you to turn over everything that could be a weapon. Like they said, we do have to take precautions."

[Faily]

"So that is how it wil be," he said grimly, his lips pressed together as it seemed he had second thoughts for a moment. He dropped his sack to the ground, and unclipped his lightsaber from his belt slowly. "I suppose that is how it will be... the saber I held in my vision wasn't like this one, so I will trust in what I saw."

He extended it to Orgus, with the dangerous end pointed towards himself rather than the Jedi master.

[Byron Mik]

Byron moved over to pick up the bag and said warmly, "Anything deemed not dangerous I am sure will get back to you. All it takes is trust, Kerren. No games of dominance or power here, we build our relationships on trust and reciprocity. If you need anything you can ask myself, or anyone here and we will help in any way we can."

"Right, team Jedi?" he said looking at Ares and Mir specifically.

[Orgus Din]

"What Byron says is true." Orgus said. "If you are sincere, and give your best effort, you'll have a place here."

He gravely accepted the lightsaber. "Thank you." He inclined his head. "Now, let's see about getting you a place to sleep for the night. It's probably been a long day for you." He didn't actually move, though; perhaps it was up to the students to do that.

[Ares Pax]

"Come, you can sleep between Byron and me." What he didn't say was that the two burly teenagers were the best to manhandle him if he tried to deceive him.

"Don't be bothered by Mir sleeping with his gun. It's how he usually does it."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy watched it all play out, agreeing with Byron when he spoke to Team Jedi. She looked at Kerren when he spoke about his vision. "The force sends me visions too Kerren. If you'd like to talk about what you saw, I'd be happy to listen. Sometimes they make more sense when you talk them through."

[Mir]

Mir's gaze went slowly between the sith and master Orgus. He wasn't exactly happy with the turn of the events but figured that master Orgus knew what he was doing and that the masters would tell them more at some point.
