Mir Q&A

#1 Postby Mir » Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:00 pm

I really don't expect anyone to have any questions.

Sorry for dropping out, stuff + death plague killed my ability to focus on being a chipper murdercat.

Thanks for the GM's for running this.

The shade-wearing gank-happy murdercat. 8-)

Despite the unfortunate plague, I'd like to hope that you had some fun-fun with this game. There were some posts that seemed that way. How did you find the system and the setting of the game? I'm still trying to understand it myself but would appreciate hearing your opinion!

Glad you could make it! Until plague made you die-die, that is.

No questions. Hope you had fun, and the setting/being a Jedi didn't through you for too much of a loop. Thanks for giving it a go!

I thought Mir was really interesting and I loved the pantheon he came up with. Hawkbats stuff was fun and of hoped to get a bit of time to chat with him later in the game but plague happened.

Don't think I've ever seen the Farghul before, where did the idea to play one come from?

I had fun in my few threads with Mir. He was a lot of fun, one day Silas will make him that blaster fishing rod!

Did you write down all the gods somewhere by chance?

Also Red hawkbats forever.

Some mew-fun was had. I hope that Mir wasn't too in-your-face. XD

Uh, my opinion of the system is not very good. They would need a 'convert advantages to successes and the other way around' because sometimes you want 1 success with multiple advantages and sometimes you want as many successes as you can... having large dice pool makes advantages and successes more unwieldy rather than more reliable.

The setting, well. I cannot say I am still well versed with it.

Well, I love to write wacky fluff. :P As for farghul, well, I wanted to play a cat jedi. And our hedgehog was planning a cathar so I was going to be different.

XD Yeah, I have them written down.

Mrak Quickpaws - our trickster spirit
Smert Bonewhisker - our 'death'
Volna Brinetail - sea spirit
Udachi Goldfleece - spirit of wealth
Guanyin Farstrider - legendary brave hero
Vesna - spirit that brings the spring
Palach the Redsnout - husband of Vesna and aspect of Smert Bonewhisker
Lovec Goldeye, master of the hunt
Zima Whitetail - the lord of winter
Paromkat the Surepaw - lady of the crossing, the one who takes the farghul to the otherlife after Smert catches up with them.

What kind of Jedi do you think Mir will be? And what are his long term goals? Besides fish of course.

I'm only sorry we didn't have time to escalate and/or resolve our petty interpersonal conflict at the end of the game. I'll just have to imagine a future scenario where the two of them have to survive in the wilderness until being rescued or pose as a criminal duo or something and it's super cranky/cute.

I, too, am curious what kind of adult kitty Mir will be! I picture him charging in to rescue the downtrodden while Master Murah follows behind applying bandaids. :P

Uh. Freeing people on Doloran. Not all, but some. Annoying some slavers. But Murah bight toss a spanner into that.

Eh, que sera sera. I was expecting us to facing more environment on planet #3 but as this was not the case we began and ended with catty Mir. ^^;; Yeah, the whole dashing rescue might have to wait a bit with Murah being space-hippie and wanting to hug everyone - as far as Mir is considered. Maybe he'll pick up some medicine, though with his smarts he'll be poking holes into people even as he tries to patch them up.
