EVENT: Foolish Youth (D2, EM, Limited)

Time: Early Morning
Location: Jedi Temple Halls
Participants: 3 to 4 PCs.

A group three of younglings move through the halls, clearly concerned as they're also trying to avoid the teachers and Jedi Masters. They speak in hushed tones among themselves, but even if their words can't be heard, there is a strong sense of fear and worry about them...

This Event will close when the maximum of 4 PCs have entered, or 24 hours have passed (whichever comes first).
This is Event can take multiple timeslots and can stretch onto Day 3, depending on the actions of the players. The end of Day 3 will be the deadline, due to the PCs departure from Coruscant.

[Zizzy Roosh]

The sense of fear and worry hit Zizzy right in the tendrils (ouch!), stopping her in her tracks. Raising a quizzical eyebrow she moved in the direction of the younglings.

There weren't many Mikkians around the temple so they would probably recognise her. She announced herself without preamble. "Hello there."

It was the cute Mikkian that caught Silas's attention more then anything else, though a note of concern touched his features when he noticed the younglings she was heading for. A smile replaced it moments later though as he made his way over. "Morning, all."

[Zanja]

Unlike Zizzy, Zanja picked up on the other younglings' unease with her mundane senses more than through the Force: the shifty looks, fidgeting appendages, and excessively furtive whispering raised a flashing red flag. "Hey Silas, hey Zizzy. Everything okay over here?" She gave the younger kids a sharp look, probably more intimidating than she intended.

[Mir]

Mir could sense something being wrong and jogged to join the others. "Heya." he squinted his eyes to greet everyone. "What's up?"

[Faily]

Lyssa, a young twi'lek girl in the group, speaks up quietly as you approach. They seem to trust you guys, at least, especially those who they saw yesterday.

"Please don't tell the Masters," she stress as they confide in you. "But Reg's missing... he said he was going to give the Black Sun a lesson, like he saw Byron do yesterday. He kept talking about it since we came back. And we didn't seem him for supper yesterday, and he hasn't been in our room either."

OOC: Reg, a 12 year old boy, has sought out the notorious Black Sun to teach them a lesson... but he hasn't returned. At best, he got lost somewhere...

The other younglings are worried about being punished or reprimanded for not having stopped Reg, or talked to them sooner, and some of them also agree with Reg that the Black Sun deserve a lesson (so they're feeling a bit of shame too for not having followed him).

But what will you do about it?

[Mir]

"Well, we should probably tell the masters, no?" Mir piped in.

[Faily]

"But... they'll get angry. And Byron will probably get a scolding too... since..." Lyssa looked to Zanja and Zizzy who had both seen the incident the previous day. "It's not his fault."

[Mir]

Byron getting scolded was not technically Mir's problem. "I'm sure they will understand." the farghul squinted his eyes as he 'smiled' at the youngling. "Besides we don't want any trouble do we." he glanced at Zanja, half-expecting her to suggest that they'd dive into the city in hopes of finding the kid.

[Zanja]

“Ugh.” Dammit, Byron. Dammit, Guardians... Under the dominant mental chorus of It’s not my fault! was a sneaky little voice wondering if she could have been firmer yesterday, said the right thing that would have knocked this stupid idea out of the youngling’s brain. “Did Reg say how he was gonna teach them a lesson? Did he actually take anything to work with? Maybe he didn’t get far.”

Master Hulis’s words yesterday were also lingering in Zanja’s mind. Maybe this was a big enough deal that the Masters wouldn’t expect the four of them to handle it themselves, but at the least they should gather all the relevant intel before running off to tattle.

[Faily]

"He took one of the training sabers from the hall, I think. At least I saw him with one when I last saw him," one of the others admitted, feeling a bit guilty for not having said anything then.

[Mir]

Mir's ears twitched as he huffed ever so quietly. "That sounds like a bad idea."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Silas sighed, this wasn't good, not good at all. In fact it was this kind of thing he had been trying to tell Byron about yesterday. Cap had very much not wanted to listen though. "I dont think the masters will get angry." Silas offered softly. "They may be a bit disappointed, and a lot worried, but they all care for you greatly." Of course that didnt mean they wouldn't get in trouble.

Still that didn't mean it was the best course of action, turning towards the others he frowned softly. "What do you three think though? Should we have a look around the temple? Just in case he didnt get out? Or...?"

[Zanja]

“Yeah, maybe. If he’s still here, or he didn’t go too far, we don’t have to bother the masters.” Zanja propped a hand on her hip, frowning. “Did you lot try his comlink already?”

[Faily]

Lyssa nodded. "He's not answering."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

That's caused Silas to pause thoughtfully as he took out his datapad. It wasn't good that he wasnt answering, but maybe there was a way to track the communicators location?

Knowledge education, or computers to know if there is a way to track a communicators location? Pool is the same, so using the more relevant skill.: 1eP+2eA 2 successes, 3 advantage

Silas manage to tap into a part of the Order's data-system to see if there's a way to track it. There's no active GPS-function as such, but he can see that it was last activated some four hours ago but the connection was cut short as there's no duration on the call.

... And it seems like it came from the sector of the Galactic Market.

That wasnt good, not good at all. Silas frowned as he looked over the information. Sure it could of been lost yesterday but that really didnt seem likely.

Waving over the others he showed them what he found. "So, what do you think?" He offered quietly not wanting to alarm the kids.

[Zizzy Roosh]

She rolled her eyes on learning that Byron had inspired some classic stupid guardian behaviour. As they discussed the circumstances she thought back to her vision from the day before.

"Um. I... Think I might have an idea about where Reg has gone. Or where he's going to be. I think that's what it was trying to tell me yesterday!"

The children looked very puzzled at Zizzy. "Uhm... what?"
