[Mir]

"I see. That makes sense." he nodded. "Who taught you that?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Uh. Master Jaric." She wasn't sure why she said his name. It didn't even make the most sense.

[Mir]

"Oooh. That makes sense. He's yujo, right. Seventh form is very eclectic. Or so Farissa says."

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh. Yeah, I guess juyo might have you do stuff like that. Or something." O'vala looked around, as if wondering if any Jedi masters were around to hear her screw up.

[Mir]

No jedi masters seemed to be present. "Yeah. So you are student of yujo then?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Uh, no. I do Ataru. The one with all the flips and stuff." O'vala smiled, not knowing how badly she'd fail later. "I've gotten pretty good at it."

[Mir]

"Right, fourth form." Mir mused. "That's pretty aggressive, isn't it? Like not yujo but still in-yer-face, no?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Hm, I guess they're kind of aggressive in different ways. Ataru is more quick, I guess. I'm not really an expert."

[Mir]

"Well, you know more than I do." Mir paused. "I hope."

[O'vala Aeser]

"You hope?" O'vala asked with a perked brow.

[Mir]

"I mean I hope you know your stule better than I do." Mir pressed his paw against his forehead.

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh. I guess I'd hope that too." O'vala tapped her foot incessantly. "Um, well, what do you do, then?"

[Mir]

"Shien, the the fifth form." Mir replied. "The way of the krayt dragon. We use the impetus of the opponent against them. Yield and strike." his paws moved through the basic routines of his style. First saber held high, then striking down to parry a thrust, then bringing the imaginary blade upwards again to parry a strike to the torso and finally a counter to the wrist of your opponent.

[O'vala Aeser]

Oh kriff, he knows so much more about his style than I do about mine! O'vala crossed her arms and thought on it for a moment. "I don't think I'd be very good at Shien," she concluded, and was rather correct.

[Mir]

"Eh, each to their own." Mir nodded. "You do your flippy-spinny-stuff. Like, flip one, flip two, flip-flip and then kriffing nailing it."

[O'vala Aeser]

"Hm. Which is the most boring form then?" O'vala wondered if the question was appropriate. But then she just didn't care!

[Mir]

"Of the forms? I guess the first one." Mir shrugged. "But that too has it's fans."

[O'vala Aeser]

"I guess Shii Cho is kind of boring. Who even does Shii Cho?" Somewhere, there was probably a buff Sith who wasn't happy with that.

[Mir]

"The lady who gave us the lightsaber intro classes?" Mir noted. Everyone started with the first form. "What was her name? En-Pee'C?" he wasn't quite sure. There had been so much to learn that days melded together.

[O'vala Aeser]

"I honestly couldn't say! Though Shii-Cho is supposed to have been made to fight other people with lightsabers. So during times like these, it's probably good." O'vala patted her training saber. "Well, not as much as Makashi, but I guess Makashi requires a certain poise to really be good at it."
