Day at the beach (D5, EA)

[Faily]

A short boat-ride out to the Ember Island brought people to one of the currently open beaches that were part of a reservation for various birds and fish. Plenty of signs warned off from approaching the nesting areas near the cliffs, and other signs listed NO FISH for a big variety of species.

The beach area had wardrobes for changing clothes, refreshers, a bar serving drinks and snacks, as well as an outdoor barbeque-area for people to cook their own meals.

White sand stretched almost around the entire island that was lightly dotted with trees and bushes, and many smooth and polished red rocks could be found out in the water and further inland.

And of course, there was a field and net set aside for those who want to engage in some beach sports...

[Mir]

Mir was there, his mood relatively high, even though it had taken a hit after he'd seen the NO FISH signs. Whose idea was it to put fish in the sea and then decide that you couldn't eat them? Wearing his BeyRans over his snout, his gaze darted as if he wanted to see and be everywhere at once. Despite the rather warm weather and his fur, he still wore a shirt and pants.

[Farissa Kho]

Having arrived a bit ahead of everyone else, Farissa was already in her white swimsuit that seemed to leave little to the imagination.

"Heya, everyone! Have some fun and relax a bit while you can. Gonna be a while until next time you'll get to enjoy a warm sunny day at the beach."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy had also come prepared for a fun day at the beach. Her swimsuit wasn't quite as revealing as Farissa's, being more designed for both beach games and swimming. However, given that she usually wore rather concealing robes it was quite the change. Blue and black worked quite well with her green skin and tendrils.

"Hey, I'm going to explore the reef soon. Anyone want to play ball first?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Farissa was the best. Or at least that was Silas's thought when he noticed her choice in swim wear. It's not like any of the other girls would wear anything like that after all. Though I'd he thought about it, most of them were too young to pull it off anyways.

His own swim trunks were a simple blue, with an extra pocket stitched into the side, and revealed the fact that he was rather pale with his shirt off. Though his frame did carry more muscle then one might expect.

"Soon enough we'll all be funneled up in cloaks on Ilum, huh?" He mused with a grin as he looked around the area, trying to figure out what to do. He was pretty new at this.

"I'll play!" Came Silas's reply as he glanced towards Zizzy.

[Jaric Kaedan]

Jaric was there too, wearing knee-length dark brown swim-shorts and a tan-colored shirt to go along with it. He seemed to have resigned himself to this with a stoic grump face... and decided to get started on the barbeque.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Okay Silas, looks like it's one-on-one?" She threw a questioning look around their group. Jaric didn't seem keen but maybe Orgus and Mura would play? "Might as well get warmed up, it'll be more fun with bigger teams though."

She grabbed a suitable ball and knocked out over the net in the vague direction of Silas.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That works for now." Silas replied as he returned the ball. He wasnt really aiming to score a point. If war more important to enjoy seeing Meli in a cute swimsuit. Well at least for the moment.

"Do you think we should allow force powers? Or is that cheating?" Moving the ball would be really difficult to play against after all.

[Ares Pax]

Ares wore simple dark blue trunks, letting his body speak for himself.

Which it did. It seemed that Silas' nickname of Abs was quite appropriate for the teen with the sixpack.

He looked at Knight Farissa perhaps a second too long than appropriate, then looked away, blushing. Only to notice Zizzy in her swimsuit. The blush deepened.

"Erm, sure, I'm game for some exercise. How should the teams be?" Perhaps if he stood behind Zizzy, he wouldn't be distracted by her.

[Orgus Din]

Orgus was there, having exchanged his plain Jedi robes for... possibly even more plain shorts. The vacation shirt he wore, though, had rather a surprising amount of color to it.

He plopped down under a beach umbrella with a sigh.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Something about the shape of Zizzy's hips meant it wasn't any less distracting to stand behind her. She waved enthusiastically as Ares came over to join her and Silas.

"Oh cool, well now we've got enough for one team. Just need to inspire a few more to join us." Her attention focused on Ares a moment longer. "Okay, now I see why he calls you 'Abs'." She jerked a thumb back at Silas then turned to look at him with a spring in her step. There was some bouncing.

"Sure we can allow force powers. It'll be fun, right?" With a little concentration she lifted the ball with her mind.

[Corvin Zell]

Corvin was also there. Although he was dressed in shorts and t-shirt, they managed to be much more stylish than the ones that Orgus and Jaric wore. The t-shirt was sleeveless, and rather form-fitting enough that one might wonder why he wore it at all.

He wandered down in the surf, up to his waist in the water. Tossing his hair, he glanced back at the rest of the Jedi with a frown. Of course, a frown was normal for him; it might even count as cheerful.

[Ares Pax]

Ares took a breath. "Uh yeah. He started that when we roomed together first." He blushed and looked away. "Sure. That's what makes it so fun."

He stretched. "Anyone else want to try?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Ares was so cute when he blushed. Silas couldn't help but grin, happy to see his friend getting some attention of the female variety. Especially the.... there was a small pause as he lost his train of thought due to Meli hopping around.

"It wasn't because the Abs, its because because he'd always keep me up with his late night exercises. I figured I needed to make some sort of Ares Braking System." Silas offered with a look to the side. It was obviously a untruth, but then it's ok to be silly right.

[Murah Bakash]

Murah watched Corvin from her vantage point by the water. Unlike the younger blue Knight, she did not really dress to draw the eye on the beach, as she wore a simple one-piece in dark green and with a flowy sari over for modesty.

"How's the water?" she asked as she adjusted her sunhat.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy gave Silas a look. "Silas, that doesn't make any sense. If he was keeping you up at night, wouldn't you just reduce your sensitivity to that vibration? Or are human ears not able to do that? And why is your face changing colour Ares?"

She pondered it for a few moments then just shrugged,. Humans were so weird. Shaking her head she grabbed the ball, jumped up, and hit it at Silas.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"No can do, Meli. Our human ears hear all or nothing, so there is no tuning out Ares exercise, or Valee's snoring." His grin turned a bit mischievous.

"As for turning red... humans do that when..." The answer was cut off as Silas moved to tap the ball back towards Meli.

[Corvin Zell]

"How's the water?" she asked as she adjusted her sunhat.

"Master Murah." Corvin grunted, but it was one of his friendly grunts. "It's good. Warm."

A glance down, and then back to her. "I think it's good for my hip, too." He grunted again. "Feels like it is, anyway."

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Okay boys, let's try playing as a team. Might as well have a little fun while we wait for the other to get excited about a game. You do know how to play, right?"

Zizzy made a few hand gestures as she explained what they were going to do. The more excited she got the more distracting it was. Even her tendrils were bouncing with enthusiasm.

She threw the ball up and passed it to one of the boys. It started to go off course, so she focused on the force. The light side responded and Zizzy was able to use telekinesis move the ball exactly where she wanted it.

Force points for successes, advantage gives next person a boost.

Bouncing was cheating! It was most definitely cheating! "Alright!" He said cheerfully, pretty excited about the new game he was learning.

The young man couldn't help but stare a bit at the Dryads attributes and Ares face wasn't the only one a little flushed as the game began.

It wasn't enough of a distraction that he didn't manage to pass the volleyball back. But the hit could of certainly been cleaner.
