"I'm Zizzy, since you asked." Her tendrils did their best pick up any sense of what creature lurked behind the mask. It seemed more machine than living tissue.

Between this and the dreams she thought she an inkling of what the Sith's game was.

Corvin grunted. "So far."

He looked at Esla, narrowing his eyes speculatively. He didn't say anything for a few moments. "You're hard to read." He grunted.

[Hatoful GM]

"I have a few projects I'm working on at the moment, other then your dress that is. Then as Master Din pointed out we have our own itenarary for tomorrow. Add on to that a shopping trip I have planned, and a few other errands."

He shook his head. "My days can fill up rather quickly, if I'm not careful. I suppose It would help me confirm if I knew exactly when this outing was planned though."

His lips spread into a smile. "You wouldn't be able to venture a guess, would you?"

Drascovina took another sip of her wine. "I haven't the slightest. But I'm sure Lord Destrus will be accommodating to your schedule. He is..." She pursed her lips, trying to find the right word. "... considerate." She smirked. For certain definitions, it was true.

When you are doing somethigng he wants you too. Seemed to be the part she left unsaid, not that he was going to say that out loud. "Mmm..." He offered instead. "I'll have to see if his considerate nature allows our schedules to conincide then."

There was a short pause before he continued. "But I should let you retun to mingling, Lady Malevaux. I wouldn't want to be accused of monopolizing your time."

Holding some snacks and a drink, Ares moved towards the mysterious apprentice. "I did not catch your name, sir." He pondered about the potential invite, and whether it will interfere with their plans. Well, he will have to see about it.

The pureblood looked at Ares with a scowl. He had just ruined the plans of quietly observing the event!

"Kerren," he answered in a growling tone.

Ares debated what to say. Nice to meet you seemed like a lie, and Jedi don't lie. Just like hips. Pleasure to meet you is the same. How to respond?

"Want something?" He asked as he offered his plate of snacks, half of them already devoured.

Corvin grunted. "So far."

He looked at Esla, narrowing his eyes speculatively. He didn't say anything for a few moments. "You're hard to read." He grunted.

Esla blinked at the statement and pointed to herself, looking rather bemused by the statement. She looked a bit lost at how to take that statement. Perhaps, she thought she was less hard to read and more less to read in general. Not knowing what to say, she dipped her head with a quick apology to Corvin, in case she made things unnecessarily difficult for him.

[Mir]

Lord Destrus looked to each in turn for their names. "Mir. Ares Pax. Byron. Eir..." once again he seemed to linger on the half-Arkanian for a moment longer than the others. "All such promising students. Master Orgus must be very proud."

"In fact..." the purple light turned to the Jedi Master. "I think I want to invite these bright young minds to the Sith temple at the Vergence tomorrow."

Mir looked at Ares, Byron and Eir and then back to the Destrus. He mused that the sith lord sure had cool name. Maybe I should name myself Mir Laserclaw or Mir Shadowpaw. Or something cool and wicked. Like Mir the Tailblaster. Now that would be a name. He wa shaken from his thoughts as someone growled at Ares.

Mir hissed and bared his teeth at Kerren before recalling his manners and closing his mouth. "Mir." he too, introduced himself. "The snackies are good." Blue eyes scanned the sith from head to toe.

[Faily]

The apprentice gave Ares a sceptical look, then before he could think of a reply, the cat seemed to hiss at him.

"Is this your pet?" Kerren asked Ares as he glanced at the two of them.

[Faily]

Eir very much wanted to visit the temples near the vergence, but she certainly hadn't expected an invitation like this. Something about the Darth's continued attentions unsettled the petite Jedi, she was so accustomed to flying under the radar, it was strange to be noticed. She sipped the water Zizzy had given her and fell back on the thing she understood best: knowledge.

The half-arkanian would wait for the Master's to react to the Sith's offer before stepping closer and speaking, "Lord Destrus, I would like to know more about your studies of the Jedi."

"Of course. It is only natural to be curious about the opposing views." The tall figure nodded once to the tiny student. "It is a lengthy subject, but in my studies I am drawing the conclusion that the Jedi Order is an imperfect entity; one that struggles to adapt to a new environment. Indeed, I would say that it can only adapt when on the brink of annihilation or dying, and then it rises from it ashes of mistakes in a slightly different reincarnation to slowly implement changes from what it has learned."

A sound from him almost sounded like a chuckle. "It is just a shame that so few manage to adapt while still alive. Quite the unfortunate scenario."

[Eir]

Eir absorbed this with a serious expression, “and what do you think is the cause of this inadaptabilty?”

"Is this your pet?" Kerren asked Ares as he glanced at the two of them.

Ares frowned. "No, my friend and fellow youngling." There was an underlying hostility in his voice as he spoke. "He is not a pet."

Mir hissed - again. "No-one's going to put a collar on me - ever again." his hair was standing and his tail resembled a Dagobahian giant reed. "I am farghul." Mir added.

[Faily]

Eir absorbed this with a serious expression, “and what do you think is the cause of this inadaptabilty?”

"Tradition is a factor," he mused with interest. "Another would be the perception of the Force. The will of the Force is a lie - it is however powerful in the hands of those who can bend it to create their own future. Don't you want to be the master of your own life?"

[Faily]

Mir hissed - again. "No-one's going to put a collar on me - ever again." his hair was standing and his tail resembled a Dagobahian giant reed. "I am farghul." Mir added.

"No? Pity." He glanced at Mir again. "Very familiar to Cathar. They make good slaves at least... though after being collared of course. He must be something special to not be someone's pet but a potential jedi."

Byron suspected this could go nowhere good and intervened, "Why don't we drop the subject of slaves and collars, Mir is a valued member of our team and he will be treated with respect or we will have to leave. Your Lord invited us here and we expect all of our members to be treated with respect. So do so, or I will know the reason why."

"Mir, you have nothing to prove or explain to this rude individual."

[Mir]

"No? Pity." He glanced at Mir again. "Very familiar to Cathar. They make good slaves at least... though after being collared of course. He must be something special to not be someone's pet but a potential jedi."

If gaze could kill, the sith would have turned into a platter of sashimi. Alas, as killing with force powers was more a sith thing, Mir had to do with glaring at the pureblood... and revealing his claws to make a point. "No-one makes a good slave, you maggot." he snarled - before Byron Byroned his way in.

Byron suspected this could go nowhere good and intervened, "Why don't we drop the subject of slaves and collars, Mir is a valued member of our team and he will be treated with respect or we will have to leave. Your Lord invited us here and we expect all of our members to be treated with respect. So do so, or I will know the reason why."

"No, but he has a lot to explain." Mir huffed at the human before turning back to the sith. "So prey tell me, is slavery common in the Empire? Do you have slaves?" farghul's arms hung by his side, his claws out.
