Morning Constitution (Day 0, OPEN)

[Orgus Din]

"Huh." Orgus grunted. "Boots works better than a bad helmet. I like it."

Chuckling, he gave Byron a clap on the shoulder. "I'll use that, if you don't mind. And when I tell it to the next batch of students, I'll tell 'em that Jedi number four told it to me."

[Byron Mik]

“Thank you Master,” he said with a smile a bit surprised at the reply. He looked at his fellow student and said, “Maybe you should talk to Ares, hear he’s a top tier a duelist among the students. Don’t mind the thing on his face, just his permanent scowl of virtue.”

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy smiled as she watched the two talking and waited for an opportune moment.

"Scowl of virtue? I thought he was just grumpy. Oh humans." She winked at Byron and thought about what she'd read on the forms.

"Weeeeell, I was thinking Soresu, or Niman, or maybe Shien. But probably Soresu. Is it true that it develops your precognition Master Din? Because I think that would work for me. It sounds pretty neat."

[Orgus Din]

Orgus grunted. "Ares is a very talented young man. He and Master Jaric work together often."

He chuckled warmly at Zizzy's comments. "It can. Sometimes just in its limited application, but those who practice Soresu often do have strong precognitive powers." He smiled gently. "That's the form I favor, myself. Good for staying alive, and for keeping those around you alive."

His brows drew down thoughtfully. "I was planning on offering some extra training tomorrow. You could stop by if you'd like."

[Zizzy Roosh]

She nodded vigorously, tendrils floating around in animated fashion. "Ooh, yes please, I'd like that! I want to help protect people. Who taught you Master Din?Maybe I can train with you too Byron? We could revise together if you like?"

[Byron Mik]

He seemed taken aback by that and said, “Sure, just take it easy on me; I doubt I have the same level of ability that Ares possesses. It will probably be more, me learning from you than the other way around.”

[Orgus Din]

"Well." Orgus crossed his arms. "That's a more complicated question than it sounds like. I've had many teachers, not all of them Jedi. Master Darach probably taught me the most about fighting with a lightsaber though, to answer that."

He grunted, nodding again to Byron. "That's how it usually works. If you're not both learning something, someone's probably not going right."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy brought a hand to her lips. "Oh! I heard Master Darach was an expert in all of the forms. And you know I like complicated questions." Looking from Master Din to Byron she added. "You'll be way ahead of me, but we can always say I went easy on you if you like?"

[Byron Mik]

Byron agreed with the master and added, "Then I will take it as a valuable opportunity to improve."

[Orgus Din]

Orgus chuckled. "I've had ample opportunity to learn how much you like complicated questions. But I appreciate the practice in answering them."

Another grunt. "I plan on focusing on the basic, but there'll be something for everyone. As long as you're not sensing lunch, you might like to join us, Byron."

[Byron Mik]

Byron lit up and said, “Well as much as I enjoy the sandwiches and flutonian pudding, a chance to learn with Master Din is never to be passed up. I might be a middling duelist but if I can approach one-tenth your ability it might help me save a life.”

[Orgus Din]

Orgus gave Byron a curious look. "Well, you'd be welcome to join. Every day's a chance to learn something new, or so I've heard."

He looked back and forth between the two of them. "Especially with your trials coming up. Nervous?" He asked casually.

[Byron Mik]

"No. What will be, will be, I will do what the Force demands of me and the Order expects of me. If that is not enough then so be it," Byron replied warmly.

[Orgus Din]

Orgus grunted assent. "Huh. Good answer. Don't know if I gave quite as good of one when I was your age. Of course, that was a while ago." He shook his head.

After a moment he shrugged. "But it's the right attitude. Trust in the Force. Can't go wrong with that, as long as you can figure out what it is that the Force wants. And that you're ready to act when you need to."

[Byron Mik]

“I hope I have that kind of wisdom, Master. I really do,” he said thoughtfully. “I am thankful for the guidance of eth elder Jedi, my teachers, and fellow students.”

“As I was taught, no Jedi is truly alone when they have the Force, but our greatest strength is out trust in each other. I guess meaning we are stronger as a unit than alone. I guess that is why the Jedi Council has so many members.”

[Zizzy Roosh]

"I think being a little nervous helps me. Am I doing what the force wills? Am I being distracted from my path?" She shrugged her slim shoulders. "I do wish I were as wise as Jedi number four." A happy smile was thrown at Byron.

[Orgus Din]

Orgus smiled, observing the apparent friendliness between the two students. "Don't think I need to tell you that it's good to ask questions like that from time to time, Zizzy. Just so long as you don't doubt yourself."

He nodded. "And it's good to trust. I learned that both with the Jedi and with the Republic armed forces. Both having trust in others, and knowing that they trust you. It goes both ways, after all."

[Byron Mik]

"I have nothing but trust in the Jedi and my peers," he said honestly.

[Orgus Din]

"Good, good." Orgus nodded. "And how about in yourself?"

[Byron Mik]

“I try to push my limits but I doubt they are as high as the other talented students,” he responded honestly.
