[Day 6 - Late Morning, Bazaar] My First Datapad!

[Esla Tor]

Esla nodded soundly at that. She supposed that she was still a lady by title but Esla didn't feel the need to mention that considering that she didn't act in a flattering fashion around her or her peers. "No worries...I don't know if I was really looking out, I wasn't really doing much during that meeting, just standing in the corner with Knight Corvin. I think I might have just remained equally as quiet if they decided to approach me."

She shrugged. "But Byron did mention that I should try talking to them since we're around for now."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Silas gave her a smile as he ducked into a shop, beckoning her to follow. "There are things you can learn from the experience, but I can't say my talk with Lady Malveaux was actually pleasant in the least."

"It was like she was always aiming for some sort of advantage." He shook his head. "But I suppose there was some value in it."

[Esla Tor]

"That's what I heard the Sith are always trying to do. I guess that just makes them hard to talk to if they're always trying to get the better of you." She shook her head at what seemed to be the futile process of trying to reason with people who don't want peace or regard you seriously.

"Do you think you would want to meet them again, if it were up to you?" She asked curiously as she passed by some datapads without realizing it.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I'm not completely sure, Lady Malveaux encouraged me to visit the Sith temple, but I'm not exactly eager to do so." He frowned.

"It might be something I should do in order to learn though, but that fact doesn't really encourage me." Spotting the datapad Silas reached up his hand to touch Aina's arm.

"There are a few here." He gestured towards the display case.

Esla frowned deeply at the mention of the invitation of the Sith temple. Instinctively, she felt like warning Silas but at the same time she felt like should keep an open mind. She was relieved to know that Silas didn't think it was such a great idea. "I'm sure you will know best. You're pretty smart, I think."

She blinked and spun around to look at the datapads she just missed. Her eyes went wide and she looked at the multitude of offerings, shapes, colours and brands. "Oh, there are a few here..."

"Sometimes I'm not quite sure about that, but I do my best." He did tend to not always think things through though, as well as jump to conclusions. Really he was leaning no on the Sith invitation, but it also seemed like a bad idea to turn it down.

"Yeah, but we already know what color you want, so we can eliminate a lot of them." About half from what he could see, maybe more.

[Esla Tor]

"Hmm...right." She said with a few nods as she preoccupied herself with scanning through the multitude of remaining datapads to choose from. "What about your datapad is different from the other blue ones?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, mine us made by a different manufacturer then the ones here, and it has a memory upgrade." Sometimes you just needed more space.

"But nothing major really, most of the models are fairly comparable, some are just a little better at things then others.

[Esla Tor]

"Mmm, I don't think I need a memory upgrade if I'm starting out but I might ask you if I do. Uhm, how about we get something almost like yours except in black?" She looked to Silas to see if he would be fine with that or if that was available. "That way, maybe I could ask you for help if I have any issues?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh, that's a good idea." He flashed a grin at Aina. "It's easier for me to teach you something I am familar with after all." Looking through the datapads, he frowned for a moment. "seems like that don't have my brand here though."

He rose to hsi full height from where he had been examinign the datapads. So time for the next stop then, right? This can't be the only electronics shop in the city."

[Esla Tor]

"Oh! Sure..." Esla said with a bit of disappointment in her tone as she gave another glance at the datapads. She was a bit excited at first but it seemed that their search will have to continue. Brushing some hair behind her hear, she gave him a nod to lead the way out to their next prospect.

"Mmm...Where are you from, Silas?" She asked him curiously.

There was plenty of more treasure to find, so with a smile of encouragement to Aina he started his way towards their next destination.

"Oh, nowhere exciting really." He paused. "Well, maybe its exciting to some. But, I'm from Coruscant, been there since I was born."

[Esla Tor]

"Oh..." She nodded slowly. Strangely enough, despite the Academy being on Coruscant, there probably weren't many Jedi born there. From what she could tell, they came from all over. "So, is this really your first time off the planet?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yup! A bit unbelievable isn't it?" He asked with a soft chuckle. "I think I've wanted to travel for a long time, but I've never had the chance."

"What about you though, Aina? Where are you from?"

[Esla Tor]

"A bit. Here I thought I didn't travel all much before the Trial. I find myself overwhelmed being in other places for the first time but I guess that's a much bigger deal for you. You don't seem lost, at least..." Unlike her, she thought, who felt a bit lost even on Coruscant.

Esla pursed her lip and rubbed her forearm anxiously at the question. "Well...before Coruscant, I was from Centa. It's close to the Outer Rim and people there are a bit old-fashioned, people say."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Ah, I suppose that's a benefit of being from Coruscant. It's so easy to get lost there, that it's kinda easier to get around small places." Silas replied with a smirk. "Though I do draw maps sometimes too, to keep me from getting lost."

"Centa?" It didn't ring any bells. "I suppose that's where you got your taste in clothes from?" It seemed likely.

[Esla Tor]

"I wasn't used to seeing so many buildings in one place and nothing but...city." She said with a blink of amazement, which was something she had to become used to during her first few months on the planet. "I guess I just follow the main streets than try exploring."

It did suddenly occur to her that it might have been easier if she had her own datapad.

"Yes," she said as she cast a quick gaze at her outfit. It was a bit out of place somewhere so warm, however. "It's a world with many kingdoms and fiefdoms. A lot of my fashion do come from there but some of the nobility dress even fancier and more layers if you can believe or not."

"I can be a bit more adventurous, I like going down all the various avenues and alleyways after all." You could fine neat stuff in them. Seeing a likely place, Silas ducked inside beckoning Aina along.

"I think I'd like to see those, what you wear is always so nice already." There were even skirts featured from time to time. "I think I want to broaden my horizons though, as far as my designs go."

[Esla Tor]

Esla paused to look around at their new potential stake before following with Silas's lead. "It gets pretty confusing if I don't follow the main path but you're probably used to it. Do you have an easier time around Dewbright because of it?"

"Well..." She smiled sheepishly and gave a small shrug. "I don't think I own too many outfits like that. I'm not a real Lady or a Lord but I guess I have a few dresses for special occasions."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, a little bit I guess." He replied thoughtfully as he looked around the store for their datapads. "I suppose I just got to know how cities work a little better?" That was probably the best explanation of it. Not that all cities worked the same of course.

"That's more then what most of us have." Silas replied with a soft chcukle. "But yeah, I didn't really expect you to actually have any? I was just thinking it would be neat to see some pictures of them or something?"
