Preparing for war. (Day 7 Early Afternoon, Bazaar)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"What the difference?" He asked, peaking into th w window of the firest jewelry store he came across, and dismissing it a moment later. the stuff inside looked far too cheap for the ladies tastes. "Between a good Sith Lord and a bad one? If you don't mind me asking?"

"That often enough one question just brings another." Silas replied with a soft smile. "And that my therioes didn't hold up under stricter scrutiny. Why the interest?"

"Curious as to what I do in my little free time?"

[Hatoful GM]

"Power." Drascovina said. "It's as simple as that, one way or another. They may lack strength, or ability with the Force, or any number of things. But it all comes down to them having a weakness." She shrugged. "In time, an enemy will exploit it. And then they'll be Sith no more."

"Hmph!" She tilted her chin up. "As though I would care. Besides, I already know what you do in your free time. You make clothes for girls, right?"

He didn't have to ask to know what she meant by Sith no more, someone would kill them in one way or another. They way she said it also made it sound like she believed she lacked waknesses herself. Which he wasn't suprised by, she never came off as humble. "I see." Silas offered simply after a few moments.

Her response brought a amused smile to his lips. "That's one of the things yes, though not everything. I won't bore you with any of the extra details though." The young mans eyes moved to a shop a little down the street. "Anyways, if I recall correctly that's a likely spot to start looking."

"I see. Very good." She looked at him expectantly, one eyebrow going up. "Shall we, then?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"We shall." Teh young man replied taking a few strides to reach the door before Drascovina.

"Ladies, first." Silas said, as he opened the door and gestured for her to lead the way inside.

He'd probably know in the next few moments if she found the shop acceptable or not.

Drascovina favored him with a smile. "What a gentleman. Why, with just a bit more of the right sort of training, I do believe you'd be a fit for high society, Silas."

She stepped inside, her chin tilting upwards. She looked around, surveying the collection with a critical eye, even as a well-dressed man came over. "Hmmm..." She murmured thoughtfully. "I've seen worse. Seen better, of course." The man smiled blandly.

"I'm not quite sure that high society is really something I'm made for, Lady Malveaux. But, thank you." Silas replied, as he followed her inside.

Which meant that she liked it. Or so Silas assumed, anything inadequate would be met with far more disdain. Offering a encouraging smiles to the sales associate he took a step forward. "Excuse me Sir, we were wondering if you had any pieces with native pearls here."

"We do." The man bowed. "Of a great many varieties. Does the lady know what she would like to see?"

"Hmmm..." Drascovina tapped her lips thoughtfully. "I suppose that depends on whether the pearls are white or black. A string of white pearls in a necklace or bracelet, or perhaps black pearls for earrings or a hair ornament..." She couldn't seem to quite decide.

"I suppose we should ask if there are any other varieties of pearls as well." You never knew of course.

He glanced as Drascovina. "Do you think you'd like to get something to wear with the dress I made you? Or something you already own?"

"Oh? That's an interesting idea." Drascovina pursed her lips. "Very well, Silas. Why don't you select the last item to compliment the outfit you designed. I am curious to see what you will come up with."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh." He offered the woman a sheepish smile. "I was just thinking if it was for that, a neckalce would be nice... the dress leaves your neck ratehr empty of adornment after all." Quite bare in fact with that particular line."

"But I won't refure the offer." Stepping forward he offered the man a smile. "Could I see yourpearl necklaces, Sir? Something with a bit of gold to it preferably."

"Well," Drascovina smirked, "we can't have that, can we. And I do have the complexion for pearls. Very well."

With a nod that was almost a bow, the man stepped into the back groom. He came back with a variety of necklaces, with pearls in different sizes, and strings of different lengths.

"Hmmm..." Drascovina studied them. "Perhaps a shorter one? Something closer to the collar than the sternum?"

"Yes, I think you're right... too low and the necklace woun't stand out at all..." Silas mused his own eyes looking over the necklaces in the cases, finally pointing out something that looked perhaps a tad ostenatious, though it was quite lovely.

"Perhaps something like this?" He asked as he pointed it out. It was high, and would likely rest just above her collar bone. "Or do you think it's a bit much?"

Lovely but ostentatious was something that would fit in quite well with Lady Drascovina's style. If only it also stabbed people or something. Her eyes narrowed, even as she smiled.

"Yes. I think that will do nicely. I shall try it on. Would you clasp it for me?" She pulled her hair out of the way, turning to face away from him.

"My pleasure, Lady Malevaux." Silas replied, he figured she'd like that turn of phrase. Picking up the delicate piece of jewelry, he stepped behind the young woman, trying to put it on from the front would be more then a little awkward after all. Not that standing behind her wasn't a different sword of awkward. Dismissing such thoughts from his head, silas lifted the delicate piece of jewelry over her head, and lowered it into place around her neck, his fingers tips gently brushing her skin as he clasped it in place.

It was a very nice neck, as such things went. Very elegant. Her skin was soft to the touch. Drascovina tilted her chin upwards, giving him easier access.

Once it was on, she turned to the nearest mirror. Her hands smoothed out the front of her blouse as she turned this way and that, viewing it from different angles. "Yes... very good. What do you think, Silas? You seem to have an eye for this sort of thing." She looked at him, one eyebrow going up.

Not that Silas was really an expert on girls necks, it's not like he went around staring at them or something.

"I think it suits you." She really did look good in it. "The red will compliment the dress as well, and tie it in with the outfit." Whoever she went dancing with at her Imperial gala would likely approve.

"Indeed it will." Drascovina. She turned this way and that a few more times. "Yes. I believe I shall purchase this."

She turned to look at Silas, eyes narrowing. "It seems you've helped me a second time, Jedi. I may owe you something. A Sith always repays her debts; that is a promise and a warning."

"I know, you've told me once before." His smile was warm. "But it's not like I helped to put you in my debt, Lady Malveaux."

"Still, I'm pretty sure you won't let this pass at just that..." He paused thoughtfully. "Perhaps you would visit the jedi temple before you leave here, or if you don't like the idea of that, I'm willing to hear what you might have in mind."

Drascovina's eyes narrowed. The idea of helping someone and not having them owe you was not a familiar one.

"Visit the Jedi temple?" She pursed her lips for a few moments. Finally, she shrugged, one shoulder rising and falling. "I can do that. But why?"
