[Day 6 - Late Morning, Bazaar] My First Datapad!

[Esla Tor]

"Sure," she nodded eagerly at the idea of being shown some games and she moved her chair closer to his side so that he could show her without needing to walk around the table like before. Games weren't allowed on the academy's datapad but she had free reign here!

She tapped on her chin as she tried to think of a few things she could add to her new gadget. "Uhm, music would be nice. I could listen to some in my spare time and maybe practice dancing. Uhm, I don't think they have anything for knitting or embroidery, right?"

The waitress came by, and Silas ordered a tea, his eyes flicking towards Aina to see if she wanted anything. Maybe he should of asked abotu that when they sat down. Well, it was too late now. "These are some of the one's I play." Silas offered pulling out his datapad and bring the games up on the screen.

"Oh? You dance?" What style?" He asked catching onto a little bit of what she said. "As for knitting or embrodiary, well they probably have some apps or something with patterns to practice?" He dan't really checked.

Esla was perhaps more preoccupied with using and managing her datapad to have noticed the waitress to approach them. She was tapping some contact points and swiping at a few places. When Silas looked at her, she blinked and quickly spoke up. "Oh! Uhm, sure, I'll have some tea too...please and thank you."

She took a gander at his list of games and downloaded a few of them from the top.

"Mmm," she said sheepishly at first before giving a small shrug. "Not professionally, but probably more in festivals or occasions. More traditional and folk ones. I guess the same when it comes to knitting. I've tried them once but I haven't really bothered practicing every since my training. I think I have a half-finished scarf somewhere...or back on Centa."

Oh, you uld get together wiith Valee sometime... That's O'vala if I haven't told you. She likes dancing, not so much the traditional stuff mind you, but some of the popular pop stuff. Still, I'm pretty impressed, I can''t really dance at all."

He smiled slightly, and typed in a app search on his datapad. "Well, we're going to someplace really cold, so there is no time like now to practice scarf making. Maybe you can pick up som yarn and make something along the way." He pulled up a app to read the details. "I mean even if we can't find a app, we can always find some paterns on the net."

"I ran into her once," she nodded at O'vala's name. "She's pretty friendly and talks a lot. I think it would be hard to keep up with her." Esla did particularly recall that she was rather energic in her trials.

"When you said you were making an outfit for a music video, was that for her?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, I could have considered doing that," She nodded soundly. All of her concerns with the trial had her forgetting some practical things. A simple scarf would have been more useful than a rebreather, that's for sure! "Mmm, maybe I could make a scarf for you?"

"She is super friendly." Silas replied with a grin. "But I can see how it might be hard to keep up with her." At her question he shook his head. "Nah, I was referring to how I designed some costumes Forushyyyk will be wearing in one of their music videos. Though I have made a thing or two for Valee."

At the offer his eyes widened a bit, no one had ever offered to make him anything. "Sure, Aina. That would be great!" He said, with a grin.

Esla pursed her lip for a moment, seeing as how passive and quiet she was, it might hard for her to keep up with anyone now that she thought twice about it. "You're making a lot of things it seems, I really hope that you get some good recognition for it at least. It's really nice of you to offer so easily."

She smiled sheepishly with a shrug as she brushed a bit of hair behind her ear. "Uhm, well I haven't made anything in a while...but I'll do it for you. I owe you for all the help."

"You really don't owe me anything Aina." He replied with a easy smile as their tea arrived. "I'm happy enough just to help." And spend time with a cute girl.

"Not that I'm going to turn down the offer of course, I'm honestly looking forward to it."

Esla pursed her lip, feeling that she should still do something for him even he's not asking for thanks. "Well...I don't think knitting is going to be as hard as making a really nice dress. I guess I should look around for some yarn and needles first. If you give me some time? I think it should only take a day or two at most, if I remember well enough. It would be great if I could get it done before Ilum."

"No rush" Silas replied with a grin. "I've only just started on your dress after all." He paused for a moment. "Maybe we can exchange them at the same time?"

Esla probably had to force herself to put her new toy down on the table and reached for the cup of tea waiting for her to taking a few sips from it while it was piping hot. She smiled brightly at the idea, which gave her plenty of time. "Oh, sure! Let's do that! That sounds pretty fair...I mean, kind of."

Silas was giving her a dress and all he was getting back was a lousy scarf.

"It's more then fair." Silas explained with a grin. He'd read enough comics to know the best gift you could get from your girlfriend was a scarf. Not that Aina was his girlfriend, but that was just details. It was still super cool.

"It's something I can wear whenever it's cold after all. Not just to a fancy event or something."

[Esla Tor]

"It should help a bit, I think," she nodded. "I wouldn't mind if there was a fancy event sometime soon...If only a reason to wear something fancy. I don't know if the others would think about that. Nothing strict but an excuse to wear something nice? Maybe then you can see the dress you made?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh! There might be." Silas replied with a grin. "Well, not a super fancy event or anything, but a kind of event. I was thinking about havign a get together when we all get back to Coruscant. So maybe you can wear it then?" It was a long shot really, but it might work out.

Esla liked the idea of that and smile softly at the thought. "I imagine there must be some sort of graduation ceremony or a formal of some sort once we're all Jedi?"

It wasn't wartime at the moment and it didn't seem likely they'd be press into service immediately.

"Yeah, we do have our graduation." Or at least that seemed to be what Farissa had said. "I think any party afterwards will have to be one we throw." Which was fine by him. "That just means we get to do what he think is fun though."

Esla smiled at that with a few sound nods, although the smile faded slightly as she thought more on it. "Mmm, do you think we'll see each other again after this?"

Each other, meaning the masters, knights and padawans they were travelling with at the moment.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I dunno?" Silas replied with a small sigh. "The masters have told me that we all share a bond, and that we will never truly be apart. But I'm not sure if that means we will all ever see each other again. The glaxay is a big place."

[Esla Tor]

"I think I talked about this with Farissa already and she mentioned that we'll still be connected by the Force. I guess that's something...but it's uncertain if we'll actually be in the same place in person," she sighed.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, I heard it from her and Master Chriala." Silas agreed with a nod. "But still even if we do see each other again, it's fairly unlikely that it will be everyone together. Maybe one or two of us every now and then." Any more then that felt ratehr impossible.
