(D0 N) Expectations

Does he know? Oh no, he can't know. No, why would Silas be blackmailing me about Avilea? Unless she set him up...

O'vala gulped. "Um, I guess I think it'd be a little, um, intense?"

Luckily the young man wasn't adept at reading thoughts, or Valee might be in trouble. Instead he gave her a smile as he finished up his measurements and took a step back.

"I'll try to make sure it's not to flashy then!" That wouldn't do after all. "Should I just drop it by your room when you are done?"

"Uh, I mean, you could totally just hit me up. We all have commlinks from the Order."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh, good idea" HE beamed a smile at Valee.

"Not sure why I didn't think of that. I'll give you a call when it's done then." Hopefully it wouldn't take too much longer.

"You might have been too focused on the costume thing."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Probably." He agreed as he stored away his tape and datapad. "I can be a it single minded at times." That was no lie.

"Just be sure to tell me if you dont like it. I need accurate feed back." People sparing his feelings wouldn't help.

[O'vala Aeser]

"It's okay though. It might be better than me, where my thoughts are basically jumping off the walls!" O'vala stretched out her arms, now that the measuring was finished. "Sure! I'll give you scathing critique, or something!"

"I'll look forward to it!" You couldn't get better without reviews after all. Even if they were scathing, which is half what he was expecting.

"I'll have to draw up a few other designs for you to look through too. Maybe you'll see something else you want to try." There were all kinds of neat designs out there

"Oh okay! I like looking at pictures." O'vala thought of the time at the archives and then shook her head. "They're easier than reading, that's for sure."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That's why comics are so cool! Sure there is stuff to read, but there are pictures to go along with it, so it makes the reading a lot more fun." Not really like the dusty books in the archives, which could be neat in their own way, but weren't all that fun to read.

[O'vala Aeser]

"Comics? I don't think I've ever read that many myself. Huh, maybe we should read some together sometime, or something."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That would be great! I could set up and extra datapad and everything." He didn't really have any physical copies, he didn't have the space for that. "What kind of things do you like? Superheros? Magical Girls? Something else altogether?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Uh, wow, I dunno. I guess magical girls, cause I do like those types of holovids. Would it be much different?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Nor really." Silas assured her, at least it hadn't been in his experience. "What kind of holovids did you like, maybe I can find something close?"

"I like hero stuff! Lots of Jedi stuff, actually. Hm, maybe that's a bit cliche."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Eh." Salis shrugged. "I'm not sure cool stuff can be cluche." He offered safely. "And jedi are cool, do you like that Vera Hawke stuff?" It was live action, but pretty cool.

[O'vala Aeser]

"Oh yeah, Vera Hawke. I think she's a bit too, uh, busty? It's kind of off-putting."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I suppose I can understand that." Silas offered with a thoughtful nod. "So you prefer you Heroine's do be a bit less busty then? More towards average?" Not that Silas was a expert in boob sizes, but this was important information.

"I guess? I just get a little self-conscious." Her older sister had been rather gifted in that area, at least. "But I guess as Jedi it doesn't really matter."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I dunno? I think it's important to be comfortable with who you are?" Silas observed in response. "Like instead of worrying about having small boobs, think about how you have nice legs or a rockin' butt or something?"

He beamed a smile at her. "Like me, I know I'm not as buff as Cap or Abs, but I have my own good points." They were sometimes hard to see. "Like I have nice teeth!"
